If you have been feeling down & out lately, overcome & overwhelmed by the controlling thoughts & behaviors around food & your body....today is your day!
In order to change your life you must change your beliefs. & in order to change your beliefs you must realize you are worthy of that change. You must move from focusing on triggering emotions to more positive ones. You must hope when you feel all hope is gone.
The sad truth however is that this is HARD. & it takes time! & not everyone recovers from an eating disorder. But all it requires is a small glimmer of that hope inside of you to decide that you want more for your future. It's a choice to stop settling & start LIVING!
In Episode 122, I discuss "glimmers", the opposite of triggers. Finding glimmers sets you free!
It's hard navigating freedom from disordered eating when you are constantly faced with triggers left & right. That is why in order to escape you must be intentional in searching for glimmers.
Glimmers are sparks of positive emotions. They are the moments in the day where you feel joy, happiness, peace & gratitude.
& if you have absolutely no idea how to find a glimmer....I've got you covered!
