Lara O'Neil, APRN left the medical 'system' to start her own integrative pediatric practice, blending the best of conventional and integrative medicine.

The medical system is no longer controlled by the doctors, but by the insurance companies that pay them, the pharmaceutical companies that incentivize them, and the owners of the hospitals and large clinics that seem to value profit or people.
