In this episode I chat to Tracey and she talks me through her two pregnancies and births. Tracey's first labour and birth was not what she expected and unfortunately she had a tough experience. The birth of her son Billy was aided with interventions which led to an extended stay in the hospital. .She availed of the birth reflection service which is offered by maternity hospitals as a means of understanding your birth. Tracey gives us an insight to the service and also what she & her husband gained from it..She then talks me through her second pregnancy and the swift birth of her daughter Willow. Traceys description of her daughter's birth had me in tears, not only from laughter but also because I could hear each emotion in her voice and also the absolute pride she still feels of her unplanned homebirth. Enjoy!
