There is much to learn in this episode and you may even find yourself reaching for a pen and paper to take down some notes. We covered some very common questions and misconceptions of the pelvic floor muscles such as:
What is your pelvic floor?
What is a pelvic floor physio therapist?
Can your pelvic floor be 'too strong'?
Symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction and when to seek help?
How to activate your pelvic floor.
Pilates - do you need to be activating your pelvic floor all the time or is it unique to the individual?
Guidelines when returning to exercise postpartum and so much more...
I hope you enjoy this episode and learn something new. Please share this episode and help us spread the word that while symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction are common they are not normal and can often be treated.
