✅ Excites you
✅ Fits your budget & schedule
✅ Works for your location
2. Finding the Perfect Training Plan
There’s no one-size-fits-all plan—life happens, and you’ll need to adapt. Instead of chasing perfection:
✅ Start with what has worked for you in past training
✅ Track your progress (TrainingPeaks, notebook, spreadsheet)
✅ Focus on **consistency** and **adjusting as needed**
3. Buying Expensive Gear Right Away
You don’t need to break the bank! Start with what you have and add essentials as you go:
👟 New shoes (when needed)
🎒 Hydration pack
🧥 Weather-appropriate layers
