Hey Pickles!!
How do we squeeze 4 days of Vegan Summit into an hour of show??
We decided that we would just do a highlights episode so that we don't overwhelm you with everything that we did while we were in Washington DC.
We hope that it gives you a good idea of what to expect from an event like this, and that it will inspire you to attend one in the future!
We also recap our day at The Vegan Halloween Pop Up Market at The Vegan Center in Tonawanda NY!
We shout out some of the great people that we got to spend time with, the awesome vegan food we got to eat, and the vendors that shared their wares!
It was a who's who of the Buffalo Vegan scene! So much fun!
We continue our Vegan Cookbook Challenge with a recipe from the book, Protest Kitchen by Carol J. Adams and Virginia Messina.
This is a cookbook that not only includes recipes, but teaches the reader that how and what we choose to cook and eat has an impact on not just our health, and the health of our planet, but has a profound impact on animal rights, human rights, and a number of social justice issues.
Every vegan should have this book on their shelf! You can get it through the link below.
Thank you so much for listening to the show, and for supporting what we do!
We love you,
Sam & Christine
