People with ADHD experience discrimination in the workplace every day, much of it isn’t intentional but due to a lack of understanding. Because ADHDers may have difficulty with time management, due dates, daily mundane tasks, etc. they can be seen as “not meeting the job requirements” or “unprofessional” even when excelling in other (less measurable) areas.
Today Justin Gillespie LMSW-Clinical joins Do I Have ADHD? to discuss adhd discrimination. Justin is a trauma informed adhd therapist.

Friendly reminder I am not a medical professional and this is not medical advice. I’m simply trying to make this information more accessible. Please talk to your medical provider about diagnosis and other medical concerns or treatments.
If you’re interested in having 1:1 support to help coach you through some of the challenges you’re facing, I’d love to brainstorm together how we can help your run your home and/or parent with more intention.
