And within moments... you've basically turned the entire audience and judging panel against you. Like thousands of faces expressing complete and utter disdain for you and your act. 

When I watched Alex Hooper's 2018 audition for America's Got Talent I personally felt naked and exposed with empathy for what that harrowing experience must have felt like. (To be honest I also kind of wondered what sort of a person Alex was and if perhaps he was just a bit of an asshole at heart) Turns out he is not.  I love him and found him to be a deep thinking, empathic and insightful human and I'm pleased my curiosity led me to reaching out to ask him in person... in front of you guys!
