At just 7 years old, Steph was dealing with her parents divorce, and an identity crisis. She wanted to be herself, an individual, to dress how she wanted, to be a tomboy, and to be free,. But, even at such a tender age, she was faced with objection and ridicule at what she looked like and how she behaved. Over the years, Steph lost sight of her true self. She conformed to the 'normal' and began being someone that was solely focused on fitting in and pleasing others. Finally, after realizing she was miserable, she began to heal the traumas of her past and take back confidence and self belief once more.
