Emmanuelle was told that by age 16 she would be completely blind. Further diagnosis, operations, and  traumas including a miscarriage, and Emma would eventually need to have her right eye removed. Amazingly, she started to see more clearly in her left eye, and thats when even more drama began! Through a series of emails on the computer, Emma found out her husband had been having several affairs, and numerous sexual encounters, through her years of physical trauma and hospital visits.
