畢業於法律系但放棄當律師，一頭鑽入熱愛的攝影與寫作，他戲劇性的遇見一個女生，聊到一個在加拿大的小島，這個島是他年輕時一位崇拜的攝影師未完成的最後一塊拼圖（攝影師被棕熊襲擊過世）種種巧合讓他相信這是命運的安排，為了前往 Haida Gwaii, Kohei 開啟募資計劃之外，甚至獲得許多戶外品牌贊助合作，他的無所畏懼和不恥下問成功讓他連絡上一位厲害的攝影師，並幫忙牽線。

抵達 Haida Gwaii 後的 Kohei 融入當地的原住民生活，在這集裡 Kohei 將與我們分享他的故事，與那座島上的人民與這座島如何改變了他

During the Fjallraven Polar 2024 expedition, Irene met Kohei, a visual storyteller and photographer from Japan.

In this episode, Kohei shares his journey from studying international humanitarian law in Tokyo to becoming a passionate photographer documenting stories around the world. His adventures have taken him to the traditional and unceded territory of Haida Gwaii, an archipelago on the Canadian Pacific Northwest, where he immerses himself in the life and culture of the Haida Nation.

Join us as Kohei recounts his experiences with the indigenous community, and the wisdom he has gained from living close to nature. His sea kayaking trip exploring the island. This episode is a deep dive into the beauty of storytelling, cultural preservation, and the importance of appreciating what we have.
