There's nothing I love more than shooting the breeze and learning about the lives of those who choose to serve to keep humanity safe and orderly.  I'm intrigued about how such roles can fundamentally change the way these humans might navigate the world we live in.  A world they see so differently to us... a world in which they are exposed to, and trained to manage, situations that might very well terrify the rest of us.   And that's just their 'normal'.
For the last 12 months Anthony threw his hat in the ring as a Corrections Officer at the prison.  Again, to be surrounded by an ecosystem that us sheltered civilians might struggle to wrap our heads around.  I'm sure there are stories he could tell that couldn't be told...  But I loved a little peek behind the bars, so to speak, into a world I sure don't care to step much closer to, myself!
