I’m so glad I stopped by the piano bar in the Atlanta airport that day and saw your infectious grin. I was exhausted from 3 days of airplanes and hotels and you looked happier than humanly possible. Nobody was paying attention and they had no idea they were missing the concert of their lifetime.
All I wanted to do was let you see me…see you…
But as fate would have it that 30-minute conversation would change more than my life… but the lives of so many others…
You were and will always be the Instafamilia Godfather…
The media thought we changed your life…
Little did they know it was the other way around…
As I told you on the phone this morning as I said goodbye...
