Dr. Lauren also explains the simplicity in nutrition by applying two straightforward tests to determine whether a food item is processed. These are either questioning whether one can recreate a product at home with its given ingredients, or the "grandma test," asking if a grandmother or great-grandmother would recognize and identify the food. 

Dr. Lauren advises using Instacart for grocery shopping because it saves time and helps cook more. She also mentions adding vegetables to your favorite meals to make it healthier.
