Taryn talks with Pamela Devenport, who was kidnapped and held for ransom at age 18. The event and subsequent unhealed trauma "detonated" her use of alcohol. After years of using substances and distractions to avoid her pain, Pamela eventually sought help and is now passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding addiction. She is a certified SHE RECOVERS Coach, an educator, as well as founder of the platform, My Badass Recovery. Her mission is to create clarity and empowerment around addition and recovery.
