In today's episode, I talk with client (and friend!) Kerry Haddock, a PHD student in the mental health field and a woman who has battled many debilitating health diagnosis. From Hashimoto's to Thyroid Cancer, Kerry watched her health decline as she struggled to find practitioners who took her concerns seriously.
When Kerry and I found each other, we began working on a plan to reduce autoimmune inflammation in her body through nutrition and functional medicine principals. Today, Kerry and I talk about the results of this work, the personal experiences we both have had as young women with health issues, and the need to stand up for yourself.
