God has a plan for each of us.  I knew from a very young age that I was going to have 5 kids, marry the boy of my dreams, that our marriage would be very special and that we would go through something big together.  I never knew what this "big" thing was but I knew it would be part of what we were called to do.  When our second child was born with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, I knew this part of God's plan for our life had begun.  This is part one of two where I share the story of our son's birth and diagnosis.

As our story unfolds you will begin to see just how much God has thought through all the details.  I'll share some of the miracles we experienced and as this podcast grows in the years to come, I will revisit this story often.  Being tasked as Teddy's mom is one of the greatest blessings I have ever been given.  While God's plan isn't always what we would have chosen, the peace that transcends all human understanding when you surrender, is worth it.
