This week's episode is with an old friend I haven't seen since our stupid Ethics and Values class in 2011. Latecia (yes, she's white) is a mother, wife, and part of the 2% of female dentists in Utah. She bravely talks about her struggles with body dysmorphia and how therapy, meditation, and some healthier thoughts saved her from a very dark place. We also talk about her harrowing experience doing dental work on the Indian Reservation where nearly every woman she came in contact with was a victim of some sort of abuse.
