One of my favorite listeners reached out to me to see if I would have her friend that just wrote a book on, and I said yes! I am so happy I did. Deb Miller-Lawless’s story is one of strength, resilience and hope. I cried, laughed, and cried again while reading her book “One. Little. Pill.”.

Deb's journey through addiction and her path to recovery began in Connecticut, where she resided for most of her life. For many years, her career revolved around sales and sales leadership. However, a pivotal shift occurred a few years ago when she redirected her focus towards endeavors that truly fulfill her soul: aiding individuals grappling with addiction, supporting nonprofit causes, and pursuing a career in writing.

In addition to writing, Deb is actively involved in community outreach programs and speaking engagements, aiming to destigmatize addiction and inspire hope through her story. She now resides in Longboat Key, FL.

Deb’s first book, a memoir, called One. Little. Pill. Was released on Amazon in May 2024.
