I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we grow. After 10 years and over 600 episodes of talking about sobriety, I had a realization: things were starting to feel a little stale—even for me. I realized that while sobriety is the foundation of my life, it isn’t my entire life.

It’s freezing here in Florida—iguanas are literally falling out of the trees—but as I sit here in my wool hat and sweater, all I can think about is how incredibly grateful I am.
