A weight loss journey is also a journey of learning about oneself.  Many people wish to lose weight but find that trying diet after diet does not seem to work. Should they eat less food or choose a different diet? Should you sign up for a weight loss program? 

Despite being a physician, a life & health coach, and a yoga instructor Dr. Tanielle Brew was once told that she was unhealthy. Because of this, she started questioning whether her lifestyle choices are helpful to her. She initially tried to follow a diet plan, but it didn’t work out. So she decided to take things into her own hands. She began making small changes to her lifestyle, and so her weight loss journey began.

About Dr. Tanielle Brew

Dr. Tanielle Brew Smith is a family medicine and obesity medicine physician, life coach and yoga teacher.  Dr. Brew Smith completed her medical education at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. Afterwards, she completed her residency training at Ascension St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Residency Program.  She expanded her knowledge into coaching and learning yoga as tools to decrease her symptoms of burnout and to help in maintaining her 100 pound weight loss.   Through self reflection, meditation, breathwork, yoga and other modalities, she was able to understand her strengths and weaknesses, visualize her future, and create a life of joy, curiosity, and hope.   She is now the founder and CEO of Brew Wellness Collective, which helps high achieving professionals cultivate daily stress reducing practices to increase joy, fulfillment, and pleasure.
