In all of the races I join, I put on a lot of effort in preparing for it. I make sure to condition both body and mind for anything that may happen during the race. But there will always be unexpected obstacles that may happen along the way that can delay the results we wanted to see.
This can happen during your weight loss journey too, so I am here to remind you that it’s okay to be delayed but not deterred. Just keep going!
In today’s episode, I’m giving you three tips I remind myself of when things don’t go according to plan. It’s simply controlling only the controllable, setting out a realistic plan of what to do next, and being consistent. These tips remind us that it’s not about what happens, but how you respond to what happens.
If you feel like you’re in this place in your weight loss journey right now, I think it’s time for you to retreat, rethink, replan, and repeat. Your journey doesn’t have to be perfect, it just needs to progress. So go easy on yourself and find the strength and determination to keep reaching for your goals!
