Your gut microbiota plays a huge role in your health and lifespan. Imbalances in your gut are associated with:


- Increase risk of cardiovascular disease

- obesity

- cancer

- metabolic syndrome

- autoimmune disorders


What can you do to improve gut health? 


Fasting! Just by allowing your gut to heal by not eating can a positive role in your health.


  • If you have longer breaks in between meals you will digest and assimilate your food much better and prevent any kind of SIBO
  • March 2021 published study showed that fasting alters gut microbiome reducing blood pressure and body weight in metabolic syndrome patients
  • In a study done on mice, IF improves bacterial diversity and was shown to prevent weight gain even when fed a pro-obesity diet!
  • At least 70% of serotonin (feel good hormone) gets produced in the gut!


So fasting has so many health benefits on your metabolism, body composition, cognitive functioning and longevity - now it's also important for your Gut Microbiome!
