Opening Bible verse: Luke 9:18-20

Less than 10% of all Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.  Part of the final step is to complete a project for your community.  While every Eagle Scout project is a major accomplishment, the story I share with you today is clearly not your average Eagle Scout project.  

We are all being called.  We have all been designed to do something here on earth for God's greater glory.  Yet, how many of us listen to who the crowds say we are instead of who God says we are?  

Today's episode tells the story of a young man who is earning the rank of Eagle Scout.  Years ago, a seed was planted in his heart to do something big. To have his project leave a legacy.  We are all called to have the faith of a child, but how many of us have the courage of a child? How many of us really believe who God says we are?
