Facts Matter

While the media in America has been laser-focused on the arrest and indictment of former President Donald Trump, the rest of the world hasn’t stopped spinning. Instead, many of the United States’ geopolitical rivals are taking this opportunity, while America is distracted, to make their moves.

For instance, the BRICS nations (an organization, similar to the Group of 7, for the leading and emerging economies comprised of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) are working to create a brand new currency of their own that will be pegged to physical assets, such as gold. Together, these five nations represent 26 percent of the world’s land surface area, 41 percent of the global population, and approximately 31.5 percent of the global GDP.

And these BRICS nations are currently making large moves to supplant the U.S. dollar as the world’s global reserve currency—meaning that this group of nations, representing about 40 percent of the world’s people (and a growing portion of the world’s GDP) are actively working on developing a new currency in order to bypass the U.S. dollar.

While in Washington DC, we sat down with Chad Wolf, the former Acting Director of the Department of Homeland Security. He broke down for us some of the ‘inside baseball’ that goes on within the agency which prevents the US government from being able to solve many problems, such as: securing the southern border, preventing the Chinese from purchasing farmland, or allowing foreign nationals to steal American Intellectual property through the use of student VISAs.

Late last week, it was revealed that Chinese military scientists have been experimenting with the gene sequences of human embryos in order to make them more resilient against nuclear radiation. According to a paper published by a team of Chinese military scientists in Beijing, they were able to modify human embryonic stem cells and give those stem cells supernatural resistance against radiation.

According to the research paper, these Chinese military scientists were able to successfully use a gene-editing tool, take a gene from water bears, and insert that gene into a human embryonic stem cell, which then resulted in the human stem cell having a significantly increased resistance to radiation.

And the ultimate goal of these experiments is to create super soldiers who are able to survive a nuclear fallout.

Late Thursday night, the 45th president of the United States, Donald J. Trump, was officially indicted by a Manhattan grand jury. This makes Trump the first president to be impeached twice, the first president to be raided by the FBI, the first president to be wiretapped before taking office, the first president to be banned from social media, and now, the first president to face criminal charges.

In terms of what the specific charges are, the specifics have yet to be made public at the moment. The felony indictment will remain under seal until at least Tuesday, when Trump is set to be arraigned—which will include fingerprinting him and taking his mugshot. However, what we do know is that the felony indictment includes 34 counts of falsifying business records—most likely having to do with the hush money payments that Trump’s lawyer made in 2016.

This indictment presents both positives and negatives for Trump. On the negative side, this is happening in Manhattan—meaning that if this case goes to trial, he will have to face a jury pool selected from people in Manhattan, who voted 86 percent in favor of Joe Biden. In 2020, Trump only received 12 percent of the vote there. And so, whether an impartial jury is able to be formed is a real question. The positive for Trump is that this trial might not even make it to the point of selecting a jury—the indictment might just be thrown out by the judge. And the reason why it might be thrown out is severalfold.

There is a new and rather serious warning about the spices that are in your food and pantry. According to an analysis conducted by Consumer Reports, many of the spices that are very likely to be in your cupboard right now contain high levels of dangerous heavy metals. This report investigated many different types of spices including cumin, chili powder, oregano, basil, ginger, paprika, turmeric, black pepper, and so on.

Moreover, the report revealed that a third of the brands that are currently on supermarket store shelves contained either concerning or even dangerous levels of heavy metals. It didn’t really matter what the brand was and whether or not it was organic because according to the analysis, there was no single brand that stood out as being completely safe.

Some of the spices seemed to fare much worse than others. For instance, in 31 of the spices that were tested, the levels of lead “were so high that they exceeded the maximum amount anyone should have in a day.” And for some of the categories of spices, there were no completely safe brands at all.

Two years ago, it was revealed that there was a plot that involved over a dozen men who were planning to kidnap the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer. However, after these men were caught, and during their court proceedings, the federal government was forced to admit that they had at least 12 confidential informants who were embedded in this particular group—meaning these informants were heavily involved in both the inception as well as the planning of the kidnapping.

If the government is so heavily involved in this, and if the overwhelming majority of the people in this plot are government agents, at what point does this kidnapping plot become nothing more than a government operation?

However, despite this making headlines, what a lot of people don’t know is that what happened in Michigan was not an isolated incident. This same FBI operation was also trying to get a Virginia man to likewise participate in a similar scheme against the Virginia governor, who at that time was Democrat Ralph Northam.
