Welcome to the latest episode of Road to Golden Door Podcast! In this episode, I sit down with the amazing Joshua Earle, a door-to-door solar salesman who knows what it takes to get to the top. Joshua shares his journey and insights on how to lead by example and get uncomfortable to achieve success.
As Joshua says, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." The key is to show up and set the pace. Joshua was inspired by a manager who was closing three deals a day regularly and knew he had to step up his game. He got uncomfortable, got focused, and worked his way up to become one of the best door-to-door solar salesmen out there.
Joshua's advice to anyone managing a team is to get uncomfortable first before expecting others to follow suit. You can't expect your team to get uncomfortable if you're not willing to do so yourself. Passion and focus are also crucial. If you're not passionate about what you do, then it's time to re-evaluate your priorities and find what truly speaks to you.
In this episode, Joshua also shares some amazing book recommendations, including "The Illusion of Money" by Kyle Cease and "The Mt. Analog." He also talks about his financial goal of 1.2 million.
