It took a whole bunch of miracles and a sprinkling of luck to get this episode on my show... And I don't mean just nagging Helen & Steve to come chat with me but to even have Helen still in this world with us.

On December 8 2021 Helen's car was in a ditch and Helen was in cardiac arrest. That scenario in itself gives her a maximum 10% survival rate off the bat. It just so happened that Steve, the off duty firefighter (yep, he's real despite looking like a firey stunt double that gets called in to produce those calendars every year) just so happened to be driving by and the moment his expertise were needed to bring Helen back to life.

These guys are now close friends for life. It's not often a first responder like Steve gets to meet the human he saved and thus we share a beautiful chat with two people who went through something the rest of us hope we never have to.
