In this episode, Jo talks about the difference between fitting in and belonging. Fitting in means being accepted for being like other people. It means changing who you are, so you are LIKE other people. It doesn't take accept your differences, your uniqueness. And when you do this, when you have this mindset, you are telling yourself that you aren't worthy unless you are like other people. And that mindset is going to hold you back from feeling worthy, from feeling confident, from true belonging. And it's going to hold you back from the life and the experiences you really want. 
Belonging means being accepted just for being you. It means not having to change who you are, because you are accepted just as you are. When you find that belonging, within yourself and with others, THAT is when you embrace your badassery, when you find your true confidence!
