Greetings, one and all, to another episode of Jules & Andy on Football Ramble Daily! Pleasure to have you with us.
Today we begin with Wolves’ flying winger Adama Traoré and his hugely impressive season thus far. We discuss how his all-round game has matured since leaving Barcelona and establishing himself in England, as well as praising Wolves for their continued success. We then take a look at some of the upcoming midweek Premier League fixtures, including an intriguing clash between Brighton and Bournemouth and Arsenal’s last roll of their top four dice, as they travel to Chelsea.
There’s all that, plus a load of your correspondence! Get in touch with your some of your own via twitter: @julesbreach @andybrassell @footballramble or via email: [email protected]!

Good day! Marcus, Pete and Luke round up all the big stories from the weekend's football, stories such as Mike Dean's latest big moment, Roy Keane's latest argument and how Florian Lejeune would dispose of a dead body.
We also debate the latest injury to an England hopeful, marvel at Steve Cook's athleticism and then find time to wonder who we think will get relegated from the Premier League this season. Oh, there's also a couple of emails as well, all sent in by excellently-named listeners.

It’s a Football Ramble Daily crossover on today’s episode of Greatest Games, in association with The Blizzard, as we’re joined once again by Andy Brassell! Andy joins Marcus and Jonathan to discuss Juventus’ spectacular 3-1 win over Real Madrid in the 2003 Champions League semi-final.
The game was played at the notoriously derided Stadio delle Alpi on the outskirts of Turin. This, however, was different to the usually under-attended matches at Juventus’ ground, as Marcelo Lippi’s side played in front of rapturous home support. We discuss this gripping tie between two European heavyweights featuring the best and worst of Pavel Nedvěd, some questionable Real Madrid defending and an injury-enforced cameo from the great Ronaldo.

It turns out that, if you’re after the coaching job at Barcelona, all you need to show the selectors is an undying love for Johan Cruyff. That’s one of the distinct conclusions we’ve come to on today’s episode of On The Continent...
That’s right, reported fourth-choice Quique Setién takes charge of the Catalans - we discuss how he might actually be a success, while also assessing the legacy of the departing Ernesto Valverde. We then run the rule over Roberto Moreno’s start as Monaco’s new manager after two games against PSG, debate Inter and Lazio’s chances of the Scudetto and review some players that have arrived at English clubs so far this January.

On today’s episode of Jules & Andy, we start by discussing the renewed injury woes for Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane. Having played 300 games at just 26, we discuss what Kane can do to protect the longevity of his career and wonder what José Mourinho can do to replace the injured striker as the rest of the season unfolds.
Also, after some enlightening correspondence from our listeners, we discuss the mental strains placed on modern football managers. As they try to succeed amidst unprecedented pressure and scrutiny, we discuss how the football-watching public’s obsession with managerial personality can be so damaging to those at the top. We also get to some of your other correspondence!

That’s more like it, Southampton! Ralph Hasenhuttl insists that his side’s victory over Leicester wasn’t revenge for the 9-0 drubbing they received earlier in the season - but it definitely was. Elsewhere, Liverpool maintain their relentlessness and Sergio Agueroooooooooo reminds us all of how brilliant he is yet again.
As well as all this we share our postcards from holiday camps of yesteryear, spare a thought for Danny “Drinky” Drinkwater and have yet more email based controversy.

We’re headed up to Liverpool for today’s episode of Greatest Games, in association with The Blizzard, for a classic escape from relegation. On the docket today is the final day of the 1993/94 season, as Everton had their last roll of the dice against Wimbledon, and we’re joined by author and deCoubertin Books principle James Corbett!
After a fantastic period of success in the 1980’s, the turn of the decade brought about tougher times for the Toffees. Everton were actually one of the key five drivers in forming the then-Premiership but looked ill-equipped to deal with the change, after many senior players followed Howard Kendell out the door in the late 80s and early 90s. There were four other teams in the mix for relegation as the final round of fixtures arrived and, after going 2-0 down against Wimbledon, all hope looked lost - but Everton performed the impossible. We discuss a miraculous comeback on that nerve-shredding afternoon at Goodison Park, as fans in the adjoining Stanley Park climbed various trees in hopes of watching one of the most significant ever matches in their club’s history.

The goings on at Man United are going on so much that they’ve reduced Sir Alex Ferguson to lonely red wine sessions in his old office, which may or may not be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s current office. They face Norwich at the weekend in a fixture more intriguing than it has any right to be.
Spurs also host Liverpool, which should be a spicy one. Will we see Jose Mourinho attempt to park the bus? Probably, yes.
As well as discussing the upcoming action, we take some necessary detours through ear irrigation, Pizza Hut’s social media team and a particularly furious emails section. We've all got exclusive new music from Pete Donaldson. It’s time to learn!
