Well, aren’t Chelsea an enigma? No sooner than we thought their flush might be busted they go and beat Man City, allowing a Mo Salah-inspired Liverpool to stay on top. We have a title race!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas after a dizzying round of midweek fixtures. A busy weekend as the North London Derby produces another classic, Mark Hughes collects another P45 and Jordan Pickford has a moment to forget. Particular highlights include the welcome return of Tim Sherwood embarrassing himself.
