Liam employs 100 workers in 28 countries around the world as the co-founder and CMO of Time Doctor and Staff - two tools that help manage the productivity of remote employees.

Most recently Liam launched Running Remote which is the largest conference on remote work that’s held in Bali each year ☀️

The two convos I’m sharing with you today are really beneficial for anyone pursuing a laptop lifestyle or wanting to work while traveling long-term.

As a newbie digital nomad, there’s only so much life experience I can share ... and sometimes you need to call in the experts.

First I interviewed Sondre Rasch. He's originally from Norway and moved to San Francisco when his company, SafetyWing got into Y Combinator 🔥

His team is taking on the #BHAG of creating a global safety net for digital nomads, freelancers and entrepreneurs.

Why? Because working for yourself is already hard AF. Not to mention the lack of health benefits, income stabilization and employment insurance.

I needed to learn more though. Who are these seasoned digital nomads leveraging the security of SafetyWing while globetrotting with their Macbooks?

So, next I interviewed Bauke Vreeswijk. He's originally from the Netherlands (we international, friends) but has been living nomadically and working online for the last 5 years!

We discuss his evolution to becoming a digital nomad and how affiliate marketing empowered him to become full-time free.

In this episode you'll hear stories of other couples who experienced the nomad lifestyle together, traveling from destination to destination with no fixed address. 

At the time of launching Freedom Lifestyle I was still in a 9-5 mindset, discouraged that I wasn't "working". My boyfriend told me to look at this as an opportunity to take a wild adventure and so the preparation of transitioning to a digital nomad couple ensued. 

He quit his job, I built a roster of freelance clients and in Jan 2019 we'll embark on an extended travel adventure across South America. Before we go all in though, we thought "hey, let's make this into a podcast".

In November 2018, I took the plunge and launched my first ever Kickstarter campaign. Before I took the leap, I sat down with other entrepreneurs who crowdfunded their freedom in hopes of sorting out what it takes to be successful.
