Suffice it to say that Day 2 was another strong performance from Chris Gross and the rest of the Mets amateur scouting apparatus. Sure, you won’t be familiar with many of the names taken and some national outlets might not laud these selections. Both of those things were true last year though, and that’s clearly worked for the team.
