In this episode of the Bikepack Adventures podcast, I share a conversation I had with Gene Villeneuve, an Ottawa based cyclist that I've slowly got to know over the past few years since moving back to Canada. Surprisingly, due to our busy lives, this is the first time Gene and I have had the opportunity to really sit back and talk one-on-one. As a life-long cyclist Gene shares his views on environmentalism, the cycling community, and of course, his own personal journey from a more traditional road cyclist and mountain biker to delving into the world of gravel biking, bikepacking and cyclocross. Although this conversation is a little different than most of my podcasts, I hope you enjoy the simplicity of the conversation and the sharing of a journey.
