I am. But if you’re not, did you know that vitamin D actually seems to have a pretty big role in gestational diabetes?
As always, I was kind of floored at the amount of research there is into this. There seem to be a number of different mechanisms going on that support balanced blood sugar, and there is growing evidence that deficiency, or insufficiency (sub optimal levels) can increase risk of negative outcomes.
Optimising your levels may support better blood sugar, better blood cholesterol and better outcomes for bub.
