So many of my new clients have admitted to me that before they started coaching with me, they had stopped doing lot of sports or activities they'd loved.
Why is this?
I answer this on today’s podcast as well as sharing some thoughts on how I think we can live a more joy filled life.

#23 MEGTALK: Who Do You Want To Be?
I ask myself this question daily.
This is what authenticity means to me.
The answer to this question is the guide I try to live by everyday and it rarely steers me wrong. It reminds me of the person I want to be.
It’s a question I continuously ask my clients.
And today I’m asking you...
Who do you want to be when nobody is watching?

I’ve had the salary job.
I’ve had my own office.
I’ve had the bonuses.
I’ve had the fancy title.
I’ve chased the life carrot.
I ticked all the boxes.
I’ve done the things society tells you to do to find a sense of worth.
And yet I’d never felt so lost.
Because something can only have worth if you deem it to be valuable.
And I was chasing a sense of worth that wasn’t my own.
None of the above were of high value for me.
I wanted to create connections.
I wanted to make an impact.
I wanted to build a community.
This is what is most important to me.
This is what I value.
This is why I became a coach.
Being a coach brings out the best in me.
I wear the t-shirt proudly.
And I work hard to bring out the best in others.
Whatever you’re doing and wherever you’re doing it, you deserve to do something you feel good about.
If you need support getting there, please DM the word ‘HEALTH’ and I’ll be happy to help.
Have a fan-tabba-doozy week!

In this episode, I take you through a simple Slow Deep Breathing exercise.
Slow Deep Breathing is a great way to stimulate your Vagus Nerve. This is the wandering nerve that carries information between the brain and the internal organs and is also linked to the Parasympathetic Nervous System (Digest and Rest response).
Please make sure you are seated or standing somewhere that is safe and comfortable.
If you feel like the exercise is too much for you at any point, then please either stop completely or take a break before continuing.
