This episode of Moony Birth Stories features Grace Ford from Edmonton, Alberta. She share the birth story of her son Rhodes. Grace and her partner Curtis were surprised to find out that they were pregnant with their "pandemic baby" as they weren't actively trying for a baby at the time. Both of them ended up contracting Covid-19 when Grace was about 10-12 weeks pregnant and they both recovered. Grace loved being pregnant and wanted to have a natural, unmedicated birth so she did a lot of research and made sure she was educated on all things birth. She was very excited to be gifted a doula and was very much looking forward to birth. Grace shares the details of her hospital birth experience after going into labour at 41 weeks with a big water break. Grace also shares her experience with some breastfeeding issues and baby's reflux issues postpartum.
