    The HI team got early access to Full Sweat: Inside Hawthorn’s Pre-Season, the new documentary from Channel 7 taking us behind the scenes of the Hawks’ pre-season grind. And trust us — it does not disappoint.

    To break it all down, HI’s Ashley Browne and Darren Levin were joined by special guest Emma Race from Making The Call, the Outer Sanctum podcast and the boundary line of an AFLW game near you. If you know Emma, you know she brings passion, insight, and a serious love for all things brown and gold.

    Full Sweat peels back the curtain on the hard yards that shape a team — offering a rare look at the moments we don’t usually see.

    So, what were some of the highlights? Well, where do we even start…

    * Adrian Hickmott

    * Calsher Dear learning Wonderwall in a week (and being better than Hick)

    * TB and JB

    * Snowball = the new Hokball?

    * Scopa and cotoletta at the D'Ambrosio household

    * Sam teaching everyone to be ambidextrous

    * Adrian Hickmott

    * Kade Simpson

    * Geelong recruiters being inconspicuous

    * The Wiz being a star ⭐

    * Mitch saying “unco” (twice)

    * Did we mention Adrian Hickmott?

  • That's what we're talking about

    Who better to have a discussion with about the journey that our current crop of Hawthorn hopefuls are on than legend of the club and fan favourite, Shane Crawford.

    Together with a cheerful, happy and buoyant Brad Klibansky, the pair sat down in Queensland to discuss a number of wide-ranging topics including:

    * A recap on the 2024 season and the transformation post round-five to the exciting Hokball brand;

    * Sam Mitchell the man, the coach and the mindset;

    * The turnaround from a club being constantly hammered by the media to becoming the media darling of the comp;

    * The keys to Hawthorn doing well in 2025;

    * The weakest link in our structure and how we overcome it;

    * Which player does Crawf think that opposition teams now genuinely scared of?

    * Charlie and Ben Crawford - will we see them wear the brown and gold one day?

    * Cooper Hodge, Ky Burgoyne and Kobe Williams - will they end up at the club?

    * And so much more.

    We hope you enjoy the chat and the fact that Crawf is clearly as passionate about the brown and gold now as he has been over the past three decades.
