Do you really want to launch your business in 2017? It's a serious question. It's time to stop putting things off because of fear or doubt or the negative voices around you and make the commitment to build the business you know deep in your heart you can create. Rosetta is hosting an event in New Orleans soon called, "Build Your Business LIVE," and it's designed for women like you who are ready to stop making excuses and build a business. But to give you a taste of the event just in case you can't attend, Rosetta shares her 5 steps to launch your business on this episode of the podcast. These steps come from her personal journey as an entrepreneur and she is confident that if you apply these steps, you'll build a successful business. Want to know what the 5 steps are? Be sure to listen.

Getting focused on launching your business takes intentional effort.

When you first think about starting a business of your own it's likely that you get overwhelmed. There is so much to it, so much to do and figure out and organize. How do you get started in a way that sets you up for success? Rosetta says the very first thing you have to do is get focused. That means determining when you're going to work on your business, what topic or niche you're going to build your business around, and much more. On this episode, she walks through this issue of getting focused and gives you tips to get started, so be sure you make the time to hear what she has to teach you.

You can't launch a successful business without knowing who it is for.

It's common for women who are starting a business to think that whatever they create as a product or service is going to be usable by everyone. But it's simply not true. An offer to everyone is usually an offer to no one. People are looking for specific solutions to their specific problems and needs. You've got to decide exactly WHO you will be serving with the amazing content and resources you create. If you don't, you'll find your business is going nowhere. Avoid that trap by learning how to discover your niche audience, on this episode of Happy Black Woman.

If you don't show up in online searches, you don't exist to your ideal clients.

If you think for just a moment about how people find the things they need in the modern days we live in, you'll immediately recognize the importance of the internet. Everybody pulls out their smartphone to search for things the moment they feel a need of any kind. That means that your business has got to have a professional and clear web presence if people are going to take you seriously. If you don't, they'll assume you are just a hobbyist and keep looking. Rosetta has some ideas to share about how you can get your website built and rocking so be sure you hear what she has to share on this episode.

Success in business only comes when you professionally and consistently market.

There are absolutely NO businesses that become successful that never tell others about their products or services. And for most women entrepreneurs, talking about themselves and what they can do to help people is the hardest part. Rosetta recognizes the difficulty it is to put yourself out there and the way it can feel sleezy or dishonest - so she's going to teach you a different way - a better way. You can hear how she does it on this episode.
