On today's Healing 101 I am joined once again by Dr. Timothy Fong, a clinical professor of psychiatry at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behaviour at UCLA. Dr. Fong specialises in addiction and today I am asking him about Cannabis Addiction. A staggering fourteen million people have used cannabis in the UK, making it the most popular illicit drug. While not everyone who uses cannabis will become addicted, 11% of users will develop a cannabis addiction, with that figure rising to 16% if you used cannabis as a teen. Today, I ask Dr Fong to explain how cannabis addiction develops and whether CBD products are worth using for anxiety disorders.
