We spent time unpacking her dark history of abuse, her struggle with secrecy, and the 7 years of struggling with a secret that she was too afraid to share. Even when she felt like she was at her lowest point, and contemplated taking her life, she got the strength to take the first steps toward healing, by using her voice to speak the truth — to shine a light on the darkness, and invite God into the broken places in her life.
