  • THE HEART FOR SOUL ALIGNMENT

Welcome to “Healing From Within” with host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit Answers For Healing and Infinite Love which shares stories of spiritual awakening, communication healing energies and intuition miracles and ways to empower your life with the truth of your inner soul being and today welcomes Nomi Bachar a former guest on the show and author of her newest book Let The Heart Speak who shares her own insights and ways to realign your soul and physical life experiences into wholeness and true confidence.

As listeners of “Healing From Within” are well aware Sheryl and her guests share intimate stories and experiences in the hopes of becoming more aware of life in its multi dimensional capacity to realign our energetic and physical aspects so we might engage all challenges with the spiritual tools and awareness expanding to higher consciousness and begin to create the life we hope. We may discover that as spiritual beings having a physical life in search of Higher Self and to refine our heart or soul essence we are quite well equipped within our soul remembrances able to manifest what brings us happiness and joy through our creative efforts.

In today’s episode Nomi Bachar will touch on a wide range of subjects—relationships self-love emotions, celebration magic and transformation as we reflect on the wisdom of our human journey towards healing and wholeness.

When Sheryl asks Nomi to think back to her childhood and remember a person place event or value that they thought highly of and that left a lasting impression on her Nomi tells us of one of her teachers in a small school in Israel many years ago before the country had grown into the place it is now and she says that the teacher was well dressed and elegant as well as exuding confidence and a joy in the work and life she was living and sharing and little Nomi wanted to be like her and bring joy and wisdom to other. As a teenager Nomi was a soldier in the Israeli army and fighting only lead her to desire peace. She then developed her acting and musical abilities and came to the United States to study with a famous New York teacher. She did well but at some point it was suggested to her that she should develop her healing work and she became a psychotherapist helping many to discover ways to live with their earlier life traumas and to develop new ways to thrive and explore life.

Sheryl suggests that many people may not be aware of how hard the Israeli people have worked over the last seventy years to build a nation that can thrive and deliver freedom to their people and have brought modernization to the area which can benefit other nations if they allow for peace and personal and community growth for all.

Nomi begins to tell us about her new book, Let the Heart Speak and she says the title encourages people to remember their heart wisdom because often people concern themselves with their thoughts and mind based ideas and think the heart might lead them astray…

She writes that we are blessed with three precious gifts bestowed on us by the Creative Source….

    1. Freedom to choose the way we lead our lives
    2. The ability to create and express
    3. The desire to give and receive love

The heart seeks to honor these gifts by recognizing the emotional part of ourselves learning that often that part of our heart based awareness is repressed and criticized by Survival oriented and over-protective Defensive Self. The Defensive Self is trying hard to “make us lovable, successful and perfect. It is trying to compensate for lack of self-esteem and emotional vulnerability. Naturally, it is more concerned with our image and other’s approval of us rather than with our well-being. However our expanded heart essence is the wise loving and healing aspect that can help us relax the Defensive Self and free the Emotional Self and help us establish peace and balance. We are beautiful communicators when we communicate lovingly with ourselves.

Nomi goes on to share that an important quality of the heart is the giving and receiving of love which is the most nourishing and life affirming exchange between individuals.

The Ten Commandments of Loving Communication are:

    1. Know Yourself: Find out how you feel what you need and what you believe in so you can communicate it.
    2. Commit to creating connections Take responsibility for the success of your communications. Be the cause the initiator the giver.
    3. Avoid reactivity When faced with a strong emotion take a minute to figure it out. Get clear and strive to create a constructive way to communicate
    4. Cultivate empathy Extend empathy to yourself and others
    5. Be Clear Be authentic and expressive and use the four Magic I’s I Think I Feel I Need I Want….avoid blaming dumping judging or telling others what to do.
    6. Show appreciation Validate your partners Use listening and mirroring skills, show respect and consideration. You can still maintain your beliefs with this approach.
    7. Be reliable Say what you mean and mean what you say. Integrity cultivates mutual trust
    8. Learn to negotiate Create win- win situations.
    9. Tap into your humor and playfulness
    10. Let go of the need to be right, in control or on top Connection and the exchange of understanding are so much more fulfilling.

Nomi asks us to remember Whitney Houston a great beautiful loving artist who lost her battle to stress and addiction and gives a summary of some elements that cause stress in us which can lead to unhappiness and even damaging self behavior,

Low self-esteem Unresolved inner conflicts, inner pain and trauma Repressed feelings Chronic habit of worry and anxiety Lack of trust in one’s self and the direction of one’s life Critical harsh or shaming self-dialogue Poor communication skills

Poor organization and management skills Poor management of commitments: time physical financial and social goal and obligations.

We are all prone to stress. It is inevitable. However we can reduce it by becoming aware of what is stressing us and making a conscious effort to eliminate as much as possible.

Nomi goes on to discuss the three aspects of the self.

Let’s contemplate the three levels of being: the Spirit, the Soul and the Personality.

The Spirit is the divine spark which emanates and gives life to everything in the universe. It is the loving fabric of all that exists. All individual souls are directly connected to One Spirit. Each one of us can receive guidance insight and wisdom from it if we choose to.

The personality is made of our Emotional Self and Defense Self. These two parts of us should be guided by our Expanded Self and not vice versa.

Our soul encompasses all three aspects.

Actions of greed, destruction, and corruption happen when people are not consulting, their soul’s wisdom. When we operate from negative desires and impulses drive by our defensive and emotional limitations, we destroy not create.

We are not isolated beings, we are all connected and interwoven with each other. If some of us are being destructive, we are all affected.

In Nomi’s first book The 7 Gates of Power she described the structure for how to think of your daily needs. Here they are, categorized from the most basic to the highest. They are all important and when met we are able to function in a safe mind and heart connection and to fulfill our goals dreams and life purpose. It takes consistency and reflection on these parts of life that must be acknowledged honored and respected for health and prosperity.

    Security Needs

    Social Needs

    Physiological Needs

    Cognitive Needs

    Aesthetic Needs

    Self Actualization

    Spiritual Needs

The most amazing gift is that we can fulfill all these needs. All we need to do is be clear about what they are, be open to receive, and commit to their fulfillment When we are working well with fulfilling our needs we are more able to develop our many talents and spiritual gifts which are listed here.

Here are the 7 gifts or talents that are given:

    1. Abilities and Passions
    2. Guidance Intuition and Spiritual Sense
    3. Physical Comfort
    4. Emotional Support and Confidence
    5. Knowledge
    6. Creativity and Beauty
    7. Community

Many of the wonderful people Nomi has met have shown her how to fight the good fight without it wearing down on you soul. Nourish yourself by filling up the treasure chest of your soul and keep a smile on your face. Here are some tips to keep you happy.

Great Memories: Enjoy your moments and internalize the beauty. Open your heart and your consciousness. Record the moments internally.

Magic Moments: At the end of the day choose one major moment. It can be as simple as the glimpse of the sky or playing with a dog. Acknowledge it and store it in your heart.

Victories: Acknowledge one big victory of the day like saying no when it was definitely what you needed to say or saying yes to something that frightens or challenges you.

Gratitude: During your day take a moment to stop close your eyes and think of three things for which you are truly grateful.

Nomi shares One of the most important elements in cultivating loving relationships is communication. Most of us struggle with finding our emotional voice. Sometimes, it’s because we are scared to speak from our hearts or don’t know what the heart wants. Other times we get stuck in our pride and defensiveness.

The keys to communication are simple as long as we remember to use them. Below are some tips derived from my 10 Commandments for Successful Communication

    1. Commit to creating connections Take responsibility for the success of your communications. Be the cause, the initiator the giver.
    2. Cultivate empathic listening. Extend that to listening to yourself and others. Empathy helps you understand and accept. It enhances transformation and change.
    3. Avoid reactivity When faced with strong emotions and intense reactions, take a minute to figure yourself out. Get clear and strive to create a constructive way to communicate.
    4. Learn to negotiate Create win-win situations. It is best for all those involved.
    5. Show appreciation Do whatever you can to validate your loves ones. Use listening and mirroring skills, show respect and consideration. You can still maintain your beliefs and stand up for them. One has nothing to do with the other.

Communication is an art. Keep experimenting and go through the trials and tribulations. Not only will your loved ones enjoy it, but you will enjoy it as well. And, isn’t that the goal—to be happy, open and expressive.

Nomi would like people to know themselves in their totality or unlimited potential as a divine eternal soul of universal expansion and unlimited love compassion and change.

Nomi wrote, “Daily we identify with our body, our personality, our temperament our possessions and we need to keep reminding ourselves that within the house of our familiar self, resides “The Self.” A spark of the great creative force, the universal consciousness lives within us, expressing itself through us. It guides us protects us, and provides for us. When you treasure and love yourself, you are honoring and loving that divine spark, which is the center of your being.”

To know love and loving feelings are wonderful and we must learn to match them with loving actions. Nomi wrote, “Most people want to know “true love” and we can describe this as ways to enhance the emotional and physical well-being of another, to support their desires and dreams. If we are not enhancing a loved one in a tangible consistent manner our love feelings are like seeds, but are not bearing fruit. Love is powerful: it can save a loved one’s life literally, emotionally and spiritually. As we mature, we hopefully learn to find ways to impact each other positively and generously.”

“We have to admit that people of all ages make the same mistake of not matching their love feelings with their love actions. If your loved one does not feel nurtured respected and considered check your love actions. They are somehow not registering in your loved one’s heart.

Nomi would also want us to consider….”Being present and being dedicated to their own personal self-evolution is what I hope others begin to embrace. I have realized that everything that happens to us personally and in the world presents opportunities to change in some way. So living with an open heart is a very important gift for each of us. That means that we are moved by stirred by and inspired by things that happen within us and in the world: nature, the seasons, the holidays, tragedies as well as the graciousness of people.”

Nomi shares “Self-Love Rehab Steps” to strengthen your own sense of Being.

In learning to transcend the difficulties of the modern times we must pay attention to Self-love and rehabilitate ourselves by establishing loving dialogue with ourselves for if we don’t our attitude or chip on our shoulder causes a ripple effect in the universal emotional realm. We need to discover what we need to feel do and know in order to feel our best. We need to discover ways to weather the storm or challenges and be grounded in life and appreciative to our loved ones and community. We must live a life of contribution and service and actions done out of love.

We must also look at violence and find what makes people nations and groups make us angry. Groups are made of individuals. Each of us can contribute to the violence or peace. We must take an honest look at ourselves and discover when we may feel like a victim or have our space and well being invaded or disrupted and anger surfaces. Moving away from the victim state of mind helps you to take responsibility for what you wish to create. It is also important to learn to give ourselves the compassion we need and to become self-reliant while still welcoming support from friends. Learn to have fun all by yourself and be your best friend then you will find yourself more relaxed in relationships with others.

We also need to take a step toward “Authenticity” as authenticity is not encouraged in a society that is addicted to image. Striving to look good is the opposite of being authentic. Unfortunately our culture and media focus on nothing more than image and an image has nothing to do with the truth of one’s being. Loving yourself is not about loving your façade or physical life or the ego or the Defensive Self “The Defensive Self” is the part of us concerned with survival and safety and seek recognition validation and reassurance. This aspect of ourselves is formed at a young age at a time we look to secure love at any cost. When finally learn as an adult to be self-reliant without the assurances of others which are in addition to what we already have within us. Then we are on our way to living and being authentic true to our own needs.

Nomi Bachar author of Let The Heart Speak a book that opens up ways to open your heart awareness to new perceptions of life that can empower and change or transform your energy so you can engage a new range of ideas about relationships self-love emotions celebrations magic and the majesty of life and love.

In summarizing today’s episode of Healing From Within we have shared many new ways to engage our heart and find what inspires us so we may perhaps discover our life path or destiny and enlarge our framework for wisdom and peace as we move on our journey to wholeness and heal the traumas or misconceptions of our earlier childhood traumas and revel in the magic of joy happiness and awareness of who we are and how we have the potential and possibilities for creating an authentic and healthy life already within our energy and soul aspects leading us to greater confidence self-esteem and self-love.

Nomi and I would hope you begin to recognize that while being human and alive may at times be a risky business and that possibilities for being wounded or hurt lie around every corner, we still retain the quality of courage and the built in urge for growth that allows us to seek balance and harmony. We may always ASK for help if necessary and look for ways to move past stress anxiety disconnection and find our way forward beyond any challenge to wholeness.

Welcome to Healing From Within with host Sheryl Glick author Life Is No Coincidence: The Life and Afterlife Connection and The Living Spirit Answers for Healing and Infinite Love which share stories of awakening, spiritual communication, healing energies miracles and ways to use intuition or connections to Universal Source for personal and collective healing and today we welcome Dr. Emma Mardlin author of her new book Out of Your Comfort Zone. Dr. Mardin is a former guest of “Healing From Within” whose first episode can be heard on my website www.sherylglick.com on the Radio Page for July 2018 where we discussed Mind Body Diabetes.

As listeners of the show are well aware Sheryl and her guests share intimate experiences and insights into what appears to be a duality in life or how the physical and energetic parts of life may come together for an opportunity to discover our true nature as spiritual beings having a physical life and working with fears and limitations in order to conquer with courage resiliency and Universal Intelligence our challenges. Ultimately we may shift to the best version of ourselves and create greater positivity happiness and health.

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” Dr. Emma Mardlin will share her own discoveries and ways to live with diabetes or any health challenge as we open our hearts and minds to new ways to think of what health happiness and living our best life is really all about.

When Emma is asked to remember her childhood and a person or experience a fear or dream that may have been an indicator of the lifestyle or interests in her adult life she instantly remembers how often she was anxious sensitive and intuitive and realized she wanted to help people be healthy and happy.

In the beginning of Out of Your Comfort Zone Emma mentions her sister and certain experiences that she feels were part of the person you became. Emma tells of her fear of heights and missing out on going up the Eiffel Tower…Sheryl also avoided that elevator ride to the top when in Paris. Emma goes on to tell how finally being booked as a speaker and finding out that it was at the top of a hi-rise…Emma did it because there was no one else to do it and she pushed past her fear finding out she was Ok just like the others and while she still might not like heights, she can adapt and handle it if necessary.

Sheryl says that she also didn’t like flying or riding over bridges but has conquered that fear by simply doing it over and over again, and realizing that whatever and wherever we are, there is a plan and we have no control over our destiny or the challenges or events we may face, but worrying about it will certainly increase the odds of that fear or thought to materialize. The Law of Attraction it seems.

Emma’s sister had an extreme fear of hospitals known as nosocomephobia and it is more common than many people are aware of. It is the fear that entering a hospital is a very scary proposition. Nixon was said to have this fear and declared if he ever went into a hospital he would probably never come out of it.

To live a life beyond limits we must condition ourselves to examine fears and see that the fear is sometimes worse than the actual event. If we uncover why we may have that fear in the first place and realize it is a memory from the past that can only be real again and problematic when we bring it into the present moment and make it live again and give it energy and life to disturb us again. Our thoughts when in alignment with success and positive action conquer age old fears.

Plenty of behavioral psychologists will tell you there are no magic words that can change the way about feeling anxious uneasy fearful. These feelings can only be overcome by changing the way we behave. We have two choices:

    • Bottle it up and stay in your comfort zone
    • Dare to be different, create change, break boundaries.

    Three ways to do this:

    • Screw it..Just Do it.
    • Build Resilience
    • Extract the core root of anxiety or fear to reach zero zone.

The main idea behind this book is “Daring to be Different” thinking of approaching things in a different way for different results, backed up practically by the approval of “Doing something daily that challenges you to build up a tenacious resilience. The idea is to challenge yourself and positively embrace fear in order to ultimately confront and conquer the biggest demons that hold you back from creating and living your most fulfilling life.

Sheryl says she remembers watching a movie once about Ninja Warriors in Ancient Japan and the warrior said, “Conquer fear and you conquer death.”Of course I know now as a medium that there is really only eternal energy, no death only a transcendence of our essence from physical life to afterlife, but, at the time that thought captivated me as I wasn’t fully aware of this metaphysical reality.

Emma gives a quote that Sheryl liked alot by Nelson Mandela “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear but the triumph over it.”

Using a quiz Emma gives a series of questions to help readers find what zone they presently fall into and to guide them to reach “zero zone” for the best way to rid themselves of limiting fears and for engaging life in a more adventuresome positive way. The questions have no right or wrong answers, just individual preferences that indicate to what extend you display the common psychological attributes associate with pushing boundaries. When you reach “zero zone” you will no longer have boundaries or irrational fears that limit you from conquering or squashing your challenges and moving ahead to satisfying solutions and events. Dr. Mardlin also talks about foods you can eat to ease anxiety. Improving our physical condition and relationships help to limit stress and anxiety.Dr. Mardin says that we may be surprised to learn that what you eat can make an enormous difference in terms of increasing or decreasing anxiety level and to conquer fears as you certainly want to do to avoid exacerbating anxiety and panic.

The term “comfort food” may be misleading and usually refers to calorific high in sugar, fat and carbs or fast food which lead to feelings of guilt and to physically feeling tired sluggish with brain fog. These foods can increase lactic acid which creates anxiety.

Conversely, some foods increase serotonin, a positive feel good and calming chemical. Other foods reduce levels of adrenalin and cortisol (stress hormones).

Foods to avoid include: Caffeine Simple Sugars Alcohol.

Also a correct level of B Vitamins is better for psychological health. Interestingly a deficiency in B vitamins is often present in clients struggling with agoraphobia or fear of enclosed public locations or crowded areas.

Foods Rich in B Vitamins: Leafy greens, whole grains, foods high in calcium and magnesium, milk and dairy products sesame

Magnesium helps to regulate levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) So Eat: Spinach Broccoli, Salmon, Halibut Flaxseeds, Pumpkin seeds

Helpful Hints for better sleep include some wholegrain toast before bedtime which boosts serotonin and helps you sleep better. Drinking warm milk also reduces muscle spasms and soothes tension.

Grapefruit oranges lemons are high in Vitamin C and help fight toxins released by stress. Other helpers include nuts, avocados certain teas.

It’s interesting how to talk about there being so many different fears and how fear can even be a good thing. It is important to examine certain fears and the notion of fear itself. There are only two fears we are born with: The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Everything else we fear is a story we have created and hold onto in our mind. Fear resides in all of us human or animal: we all instinctively respond to danger with natural defense mechanisms when we instinctively know we need to protect ourselves from harm. In these scenarios the reptilian part of brain located in the brainstem and referred to as the instinctive alarm center of the brain provides us with an instant reflex action to protect us from harm before we have time to think and process what’s happening.

Other fears most people are aware of have been in one way or another imprinted on us by another person or trauma we experienced in our childhood.

There is the fear of flying: aerophobia –you are more likely to become a professional athlete or be in a car accident than a plane crash Fear of thunder and lightning: astraphobia. Thunder not really dangerous and it is rare to be struck by lightning as 90 percent of lightning travels from cloud to cloud rather than reaching the ground

Fear of spiders arachnophobia. Only 12 out of 40,000 species of spiders can cause serious harm to adult humans

Fear of dentist dentophobia. Modern dental techniques such as air abrasion have replaced many traumatic treatments of past.

Physical effects associated with fear are many and serious in this New Age Fast Paced Fear Generated Society. They include elevated blood sugars, developing diabetes or insulin resistance, lower immune system functioning, and inability to fight infections, headaches, lack of concentration, trouble sleeping, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, lack of energy, skin problems, fertility issues, muscle aches and pain, increased cholesterol, heart disease, bowel Issues, allergies, heartburn, stomach sensitivities etc.

There are many helpful ways to deal with fear and retrain our minds. Essentially taking control of your mind helps you take control of your life and will help you determine your internal reality which will change your external reality. Indeed, taking “Responsibility for ourselves” as opposed to letting the outside world determine how you feel on the inside, avoids creating a self-deprecating and self-limiting vicious circle of defeat suffering and unhappiness.

All too often it takes something drastic for people to realize they need or want change but you can make change instantly simply by starting to see things differently. Our attitudes and perceptions create most things that appear in our everyday life. The Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like” So fearful thoughts and actions or chaotic thoughts and dysfunction will draw those energies, people and events to you. Confidence hopefulness and loving awareness of self and the world will draw pleasant opportunities for improving life. The choice is always ours. Act out of fear and that fear will present itself.

Dr. Emma Mardlin is keen on addressing the “Core Roots” and sharing how confidence and resilience help put one into the space or comfort zone She offers some fun suggestions to do this as well as The Staple Seven to Successful Results

    • Awareness that our Internal Reality is what creates our external results. If we have a negative fearful mind set in our head we will externally experience results in line with this thinking So choose to create a positive internal reality and positive stories in your head and remind yourself how you feel grateful for life. Choose to take control rather than merely respond to the external world and let that determine your internal state.
    • A Positive Focus and Limited Refracting Period The refractory period refers to the manifestation of negative emotions and let them fester within we will be prevented from creating and living within positive thinking and conditioning ourselves to focus on that and be in that state of energy while still having a peripheral awareness of everything else.
    • Always Knowing and Feeling your outcome at the deepest core level (Intuitive Gut Level) What is your aim- What do you want to achieve, focus on, spend time on.
    • Great Behavioral and Mental Flexibility There’s always more than one way to get over obstacles and achieve your goals.
    • Self-awareness Physically and Psychologically How we think, our mindset and beliefs physical bearing and manner verbal communication are all interlinked. Maintain a psychology of Excellence.
    • Take Action and Test Things Out
    • Creating “Change windows”- Dare to be different- We can essentially change our entire neurology sending different bio-chemical messages from brain to body by thinking, feeling, and behaving differently.

Have fun with Creating Your Own List of Resilience Building and moving past the thoughts and restrictions of your childhood or home life.

Fun Activities to stimulate personal development

    • Say Hello, how are you? And smile at 5 random people you don’t know.
    • Play a game with friends or challenge one to integrate funny or random phrases into normal conversation like “Cowabunga,” It’s unbelievable or “jeepers creepers” or “I don’t know Jeff” etc. People may laugh.
    • Strike up and amicable conversation with a stranger- either in person or by e-mail.
    • Be assertive and honest and speak out. Speak what’s on your mind-Go a day with no subjugation. Push your boundaries
    • Wear something different from usual
    • Make that phone call you’ve been putting off.
    • Have a complete mobile phone and social medial switch off for 24 hours. Liberating and certainly pushes boundaries.
    • Travel alone
    • Buy a copy of the Big Issue on the street sold possibly by homeless people and have a conversation with them.
    • Meditate
    • Look at yourself in the mirror. Say aloud I love you and I enjoy what I do.
    • Use a different mode of transportation
    • Surprise someone with something nice.
    • Start a new hobby or interest.

You can also make a list of things that personally scare you and write down the opposite. Example

    My Comfort Zone

    My Fear/Anxiety

    My Mission

    • Subjugating myself to Decision making and fear of Create my own project Others or follow being wrong and upsetting people interests me Crowd.
    • Remaining behind Public Speaking Get involved with large group scenes Networking Lead small group “Do the thing you fear the most and the death of fear is certain “ Mark Twain

Dr. Mardlin would want readers of Out of Your Comfort Zone to take away with them after reading her book that it all starts with what and how we think. Many of our fears were part of our early childhood training and societal patterning and most of it is now illusion and unrealistic for us in our adult life: yet, we still have the fear in our thoughts and must overcome the falseness of the thought. This is because our thoughts affect our emotions and therefore our behaviors physical health and the results we get in life. The fear isn’t always the problem.

We thank Dr. Emma Mardlin author of Out of Your Comfort Zone for her infectious enthusiasm and search for treatment ideas and methodology to understand and conquer many of the fears and limitations so many of us carry from childhood and an awareness and techniques she offers to successfully adapt with resilience and courage to all challenges with hopes for living life bravely and boldly, not merely surviving but thriving.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” we have discussed ways to understand our body mind and spirit and how our psychological fears, whether real or imaginary influence the way we approach all aspects of our life. We can learn to either move out of our restrictive comfort zones or personalized prisons which do not allow us to explore new options, possibilities, and talents which can mean we are really living our lives, rather than remaining stuck in presumed ideas thoughts attitudes and meaningless anxiety or stress.

We have discussed the ways to overcome our fears and how to use diet exercise and relationships work and fun for creating balance and well being in our daily activities and thinking with positive approaches to handling all stressors or challenges.

As Dr. Emma Mardlin wrote, “Deep down, most of us have an idea what we want in life-these are our deep seated expectations, but they are on a conscious, subconscious or totally unconscious (out of our awareness level). The challenge is however, when we aren’t matching this in our current life, or for whatever reason lose sight of it. One of the most common things that block people striving to get what they want is the fear of change, the fear of stepping outside their existing comfort zone, and entering the unknown.”

Emma and I would have you begin to look within and see that many of your fears are simply the memory of childhood thoughts that in your present day reality no longer really serve or affect you. In leaving fear that does not serve behind, you enter the world of the Unknown and become Aware of All that you are and will continue to be, as you say “Yes” to opportunities and try new ways to explore life with enthusiasm.

  • TRANSITION FROM THE INFORMATION AGE TO INTUITION AGE

In this episode of “Healing From Within” your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite Love is delighted to welcome back Penney Peirce author of her newest book Transparency describing what real radical transparency is and how we can employ it for success in our own lives relationships and organizations.

Listeners may go to my website www.sherylglick.com to the radio link and listen to Penney’s last interview on July 13, 2015 discussing how New Perceptions May Change Your Reality.

Listeners of “Healing From Within” are aware Sheryl and her guests seek scientific and spiritual answers to age old questions about human development evolution and the Universal laws of energy for higher awareness and consciousness and ways to advance an understanding of life in all its infinite possibilities.

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” we will explore the concept of Transparency as in this age of transformation we try to remember an enlightened way of being and living so we may move past negative emotions and victim behaviors, and begin to live with less stress, friction, to awaken the soul’s desires to materialize and create a life of true awareness of soul potential and higher vibrational living.

In her book Transparency Penney Peirce describes how life will function in a new way as we leave the Information Age and enter the new transparent Intuition Age. As we dissolve the causes for our inability to know ourselves and life as it truly is, our security needs via attachment, linear-logical left-brain perception, the distracted un-centered mind, negative emotions and speech and control and victim behaviors—life will shift to become frictionless and the soul’s desires materialize without distortion.

Transparency helps us remember an enlightened way of living and how to return to it if we backslide. It helps us clear blockages in a rapid and thorough manner and have the courage to show up participate fully in life.

Transparency helps us learn that being seen for all of who we are relieves pain and suffering. Secrets lies and hiding are no longer necessary—or even functional. Honesty simplicity and true humility produce genius and wisdom.

Transparency creates clarity of purpose ease of materialization realization of belonging support from others and joy in conscious creations. Transparency empowers us to be seen accurately and to see through situations that blind and confuse others. We have X-ray vision! Clarity in our selves equates to clarity everywhere.

Penney shares how she believes we can begin to drop protective fearful ways and embrace the transparent gifts of higher consciousness and full presence and comments on the advantages for us both personally and collectively.

Penney wrote “It’s easy to be spiritual when you are surrounded by like-minded thinkers and people of your wavelength. The so-called outside world validates you. But can you be spiritual and feel the way you like to feel anywhere?…Immediately my inner voice said, It’s not about expansion, it’s about exposure. You don’t have to project yourself out into more of the world, just let people see you. Don’t protect yourself or hide: be transparent.”

By understanding transformation is a matter of experiencing how the non-physical spiritual realms and physical life exist simultaneously in the same time and space—how they’re simply different, yet complimentary, mutually sourcing interpenetrating frequencies of the same universe. To be transformed is to be transparent and ultimately to know there are filters that dim the soul’s starlight and distort the translation of the soul’s wisdom into form. Remove the clutter and what’s left is the transparent diamond-like self… Finding ways to discover limiting fears and clutter would include: To begin you might in your journal be creative, draw diagrams, and note what has captured your attention, a song lyric, a synchronicity, a snippet of someone’s conversation, an article, poem, book, something you see in nature. Begin to record and decode dreams and transcribe the gist of the inner dialogues you have with yourself. Then write down the negative declarative statements your left brain ego generated brain makes so you can see these limiting thoughts on paper. Find elements of your life vision. List the loves and favorites, your distastes and pet peeves so you can review later, and discover what you are really working on in your inner world.

Intuition is going to be an important skill of the future. In order to create the future and enter it gracefully, we must be able to know directly now without distortion. We must become transparent which to me means honest and open, and dive in and swim with the universe’s quantum particles and energy waves, like dolphins leaping alongside the prow of a fast moving ship. As you enter the Intuition Age you become ultra-sensitive and your energy and consciousness increase greatly. Your emotions stabilize and you feel happier, more harmonious enthusiastic and positive. You stop complaining and criticizing, and open your mind. You are more curious and accessing knowledge and processing it in the Intuition Age and now more based on right brain perception: empathy telepathy intuition and compassion. Now you are a higher frequency personality and have a convincing sense of living experiences—of soul, in your body, all the time.

Sheryl likes a quote that feels in alignment with this new sense of soul being….”If it vibrates, it can be tuned. Everything is energy—violins, people, potato chips, thoughts feelings and events. They all vibrate.” Deena Zalkind Spear

Many of us are becoming aware of life’s acceleration and its impact on perception identity and reality. The frequency of matter and of our bodies emotions and thoughts, has been steadily rising causing us to feel uncomfortable and pressured while also becoming ultra sensitive and more aware of the inner world of energy and consciousness. You probably recognize some of the signs and symptoms of this quickening process. As we’ve been adjusting ourselves to the higher frequency preparing for a new self and reality often without realizing it, we’ve been loosening the stuck places in our history beliefs and habits, so we can clear them and be free to evolve. We are waking up to the immensity of what we can be. Our capacity as human being is expanding beyond what we’ve been able to imagine. If we pay attention it’s evident that we are experiencing a shift that starts in the nonphysical realm and materializes as a true transformation of life on earth. The word miracle is showing up everywhere these days.

The ideas of “seeing through” and “being seen” and how these gifts can be used advantageously are in our thoughts now. The greater dynamic of what’s happening is little understood by people whose main focus is on the physical world. They don’t see the non-physical part of the process yet and tend to assume the world is spiraling toward destruction as the result of events like the explosion of the space shuttle Challenger in 1986, and Twin Towers destruction on 9/11, and the financial crisis of 2007-2008 showed. Though societal events and personal difficulties are disruptive they serve as wedges to open up new realities and expansive thinking.

The transformation process and acceleration of frequency is evolving your consciousness from fear to love, beyond old emotional wounds and low vibrational negativity and worry. Emotions based in fear—like distrust, hatred, apathy, disdain, or envy vibrates relatively very slowly compared to emotions like love, joy, affection, enthusiasm, kindness or appreciation. Thoughts that are fixed—opinions, beliefs, credos and dogma, vibrate at lower levels than thoughts that are fluid—such as inspiration, curiosity, imagination or intuition. While becoming unnoticeable when in a group might protect us in some way in our own need for safety, and to avoid failure in any sense, and does meet certain fear based needs, we still secretly want to be recognized.

Sheryl says that she remembers once telling someone she respected that she simply wished to be known…..She didn’t realize at the time that she meant for the soul and spirit she embodied and the hope she had for others to awaken to a higher sense of awareness and truth and to know life in a refined open or exposed and transparent way. In her book The Living Spirit she wrote, “This is the journey of the soul and in order for soul maturation one cannot allow oneself to be any more attached to one soul than another. This can be hard to accept, let alone implement. Aren’t we taught from birth to love our families beyond all else and to take care of our own? Although all expressions of love are equally needed and valued by Spirit, it is in the oneness of being and the fairness to all that means we are detaching from human ego and have come into the fullness of our divine soul essences.

Penney wrote, “The more authentic you become, the more you like who you are, and the more willing to be seen and known by others.”

As the process of becoming more balanced in your spiritual and humanness you are free to share more of the magnificent energy and life force that is so welcoming and expressive.

Penney talks about what happens if we don’t clear away negativity and dissolve fear or what upsets us. “You may try to push it away, distract yourself and pretend or deny it exists. If you’re a fighter you might use some form of control, domination, confrontation, intimidation, fortification, misdirection, and trickery cynicism or stoicism. You may become aggressive violent or develop hair-trigger defensiveness. If you are more comfortable with flight, you may avoid the issues by becoming spacey unconscious apathetic or noncommittal. You might feign ignorance, distract yourself with addictive substances and behaviors, or fragment your awareness by trying to do a million things in front of you, or you might give away your power to authority figures or act helpless complaining about feeling unloved deprived or overwhelmed. When the heightened energy scares you it builds up even more and pushes harder to be released. If you continue to choose resistance rather than flow life becomes intense and difficult filled with negative experiences that explode. Progress and change must be allowed as acceleration cannot be stopped. Becoming defensive about the habits you developed to maintain security now brings up the opposite experience—the one you’ve resisted feeling.

It is important to remember that the negative views that plague you are a figment of the left brain which at its most contracted and dense creates ego. Your left brain must surrender control for you to transform. This is called “ego death.” You don’t have to be better than others, know everything ahead of time, have a plan for everything or control other people’s responses to you. As you drop these needs, the ego feels itself becoming useless or dying and can cause you to think dire paranoid thoughts. Life can look dark and dangerous. You are finally so exhausted from avoiding, resisting, controlling, and re-suppressing subconscious blocks that you just stop. The left brain’s methods fall apart.. In spite of yourself you’ve begun to experience the open slightly transparent mind. You start to get out of your own way. Revelations emerge as your soul shines once again.

As Rumi wrote, There is an inner wakefulness that directs the dream, and that will eventually startle us back to the truth of who we are.

Understanding the parts of the brain and their function allows us to see the changes happening during this time of transformation to transparency. Linear left brain perception and shifting to the Right Brain for total awareness of our past present and future needs is part of this process.

Linear perception is an old way of knowing who we are and how life works. It is based on a model of reality that sees separation. Past present and future are lined up in a row separated from each other. We have here and there, self and other, inside and outside and the million either or polarities that we move between via a line. We have timelines, storylines, lines of logic, mechanical processes, and the shortest distance between two points.

Linear perception is a function of the left brain.

Two of the primary rules of the left brain are: 1 never be overwhelmed by negative emotion 2 avoid unproven change as much as possible.

To be clear—linear left-brain perception is not bad. It’s just that it can no longer be the primary mode for knowing yourself and creating reality. There will always be a need for linear perception which helps us have individual self-consciousness and gets things done. Today we still understand and use instinct of the perception of the reptile brain as a smaller part of our intelligence. So we are moving from the predominant left brain thinking to right brain or quantum perception. The right brain is free flowing, non-verbal non-mathematical nonsequential and its perception is not confined to specific spatial dimensions. It is integrative perceiving the whole and intuition is its natural form of perception. The right brain is the imaginal realm where all possibilities exist and abundance is normal. We might call it heightened impressionability.

In the Intuition Age you’ll use a combination of horizontal and vertical transparency.

Horizontal transparency or physically related transparency means that motion and means are rooted in mater and person to person communication. Horizontal transparency in the Information Ages relates primarily to government business and leadership

Another kind of transparency is Vertical transparency that is a characteristic of our energy and consciousness. It’s totally clear perception that results when the soul integrates with the personality or ego based left brain perception. Here the higher frequency nonphysical energy and consciousness of the spiritual realm shines through the lens of your mind, emotions and body to be made real in the world.

In these end times of the Information Age transparency is widely used to describe ability of one person or party to access information from another and we associate truth with good information. Remember that information is horizontal and left brained and subject to distortion, while wisdom is vertical right brained—heart oriented and of the soul.

Penney lets us know that the world is ready now for global horizontal and vertical transparency because the frequency has risen and people around the world are connecting with each other via social media and broadcast and cell phone networks. The internet speeds us access to every sort of data, every kind of personal story, every distortion of truth and all the varieties of reality TV exaggeration. Everyone seems to be writing a book, creating podcasts and making videos. We are flooded with truth and lies. We need horizontal transparency honesty and authenticity concerning information and knowledge to help us do that. The importance of instantaneous connections with people on our wavelength breeds a longing for intimacy and for the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the world not alone but in co-creation.

Transparency both horizontal and vertical increases the incidence of innovation and helps bring forth inventions and improvements to society making us ready for a fully transparent self life and world.

Penney Peirce shares a truthful well defined ability to clearly help readers see the shift of awareness of Consciousness, time and space, invisible energy and matter, and all that defines us as both spiritual and physical beings who are on the precipice of knowing life in its infinite wisdom and wonderment. The time is NOW and reading Transparency will aid you in moving forward into life as it can be lived beyond, past present and future, in the one moment of Unified Consciousness.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” we have taken a look at the awakening process and observed the transformation of humans as they move from the Information Age to the Intuition Age as we gather a clearer view of who we are and what life can be when we engage in interacting with all forces of creation and life in a compassionate kind and empowering way. This view and experience benefit all and does not allow us to separate ourselves from each other and the Universal Source that fuels and encourages creativity and progress in all human and divine matters.

As Penney wrote, “Most of us live in opaque bodies in an opaque world We do not see through to what’s real and are rarely seen for who we truly are. We are resigned to an old slow kind of perception in what’s becoming a painfully dense or opaque –reality. Think how much of our time energy and resources is spent on self-protection and defense, keeping secrets, lying hiding, and living by outmoded mores. Think how much misunderstanding and waste result from the belief that we live in a destructive inimical world instead of an evolving compassionate one.”

Penney and I would have you know that beyond the spider web of limiting human beliefs, self-doubt and unclear perceptions is the “Observer within you”—the soul that remembers eternal life, love and creative ways to live unfettered by societal mis-beliefs, and painful living of any kind. Begin to watch, observe, awaken and you will know yourself and others as the miracle of a creative life force that allows us to manifest physical life in better ways, to flow with change and to honor Spirit.

Ellen as you may well know for your friend Rizwan Virk who has been a
guest several times on the show author of his newest book Treasure Hunt…
may have explained to you that my guests and I share intimate stories
and insight into the “seen” and “unseen worlds of life and creative
potential” in the hopes of utilizing knowledge of who we are and what
life is all about in ways that can provide healing health and a greater
love for ourselves other and our life force. For our listeners who wish
to learn more about exploring the mysteries of quantum physics business
and life go to my website www.sherylglick.com the radio page and listen
to the show Rizwan Virk and I shared on September 2018 Special Editions.

In today’s episode of Healing From Within Ellen Mc Donough an artist and
creator of Pure Light which is Reiki –infused music for relaxation and
meditation but further enhanced with frequencies to attract abundance
that may help to revitalize the body, attract a soulmate, release
limiting beliefs clear dark energy and more. We will discuss a new
technology called, “frequency-infused audios “also called energy
transmissions in which audios are encoded with high spiritual
frequencies and pure intentions to shift or create virtually anything in
life. We may find that this is the latest in consciousness technology
and the beginning of a new trend adopted by some of the world’s top
    energy healers.

Let’s fast forward and hear how you became interested or aware of
Frequency-infused audios and how they have helped you in many ways.

Ellen shares that a few years ago she suffered with pain and extreme
fatigue as well as a series of bizarre symptoms that no one could
explain. Dietary changes and supplements helped, but they didn’t cure.
She saw countless health practitioners, both allopathic and holistic but
despite their best intentions, nothing changed. Ellen felt miserable
    depressed and hopeless.

Fortunately synchronicity led her to discover audio tracks infused with
powerful high frequency energies along with specific pure intentions.
Already familiar with energy work she added this to her practice. When
she started to listen she felt like her energy field was being blasted
with white light..then in the following days she underwent a detox both
physical and emotional as if anything that didn’t match the high
frequency energies came up to be released. It wasn’t always easy, but I
just went with it and after a short time I’s feel much better with my
symptoms eased. I used a group of audios while I slept and felt much
lighter and freer after listening to them. Still others simply put me in
a more heightened state of awareness where my guidance was clearer and
    life became more synchronistic.

In short by listening to frequency infused audios from a number o0f
different healers and immersing myself in high pure frequencies many of
my symptoms vanished and my energy returned. While this wasn’t the only
factor in my recovery these audios produced by gifted healers around the
    world certainly helped.

Nikola Tesla wrote “If you want to find the secrets of the universe,
think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” How can frequencies
    shift reality?

There is a new technology available called “frequency infused audios”
also called energy transmissions or energetically encoded audios in
which top energy healers are infusing and encoding audios with very high
frequencies and pure intentions to shift or create virtually anything in
life such as prosperity success spiritual awakening emotional healing
and so much more The Universe doesn’t speak English, it speaks
    frequency.

Sheryl says: Thoughts and emotions are energy so when we are engaging in
thoughts and emotions that enhance our natural state of soul being and
wisdom we have opportunities to create a healthier more prosperous and
purposeful life. Life doesn’t happen to us, it is a reflection of the
inner thinking and the actions and choices we make.

In my book The Living Spirit I wrote, “We must realize that each person
perceives the world according to his or her life experiences, both
present and past: therefore, we will never fully understand another’s
behavior or their reasons for doing things differently than we do. This
realization is the key to allowing and accepting everything and everyone
without judgment, anxiety, fear, pain, anger, or hate. It is, you will
find, the only way for us to experience true contentment while we are on
this three dimensional plane. Each of us is unique and we are on
different karmic and energetic pursuits. As we learn to apply energetic
universal laws and use them more consistently, we will help create a
more harmonious world for ourselves and others.”

Sheryl goes on to say, “We are energy beings each giving off different
vibrations. Maybe that is why we feel more comfortable with certain
people and places that work in alignment with our own frequency or
vibration and less comfortable with others. You might hear this
expressed as, “Are you getting a vibe?”…meaning a feeling or intuition
about what resonates best with you and your life journey.”

Ellen describes what audios are like. The audios are all different, as
each healer has his/her own unique style. For example some audios
contain talking similar to a guided meditation but the healer is
actually transmitting energies to the listener. Other audios contain
music, and some have Light Language. Some audios have voice toning where
instead of a musical instrument, the healer uses their voice to transmit
frequencies: still others are completely silent.

Also different are the ways the audios can be used: some require active
listening but many may be played on a loop during the day or while you
sleep and you can bask in the high energies non-stop. A few require
headphones or earbuds, but the vast majority do not.

What’s important to know about playing these audios is that anyone and
anything near you will also get the benefit of these frequencies so you
can download healing frequencies to help other people, pets, plants,
etc—even to raise the vibration of an object or room. It’s a great way
to help make a positive difference in the world around you:

Sheryl says: Over the years I have met and interviewed many healers and
listeners may want to go to the shows expressing many of the thoughts
and ideas about the healing power of music v discussed here today.

Years ago I met a woman named Victoria and have her frequency infused
audios that she told me were downloaded to her by her guides from a
higher star system for the healing of this planet. You can find her
music on www.victoriaslight,com At the time she was working with Steven
Spielberg to bring this vibrational music to the public. Also go to my
website www.sherylglick.com to the radio link to hear one of my very
first shows in 2010 with a singer from England Lucinda known as Bliss
who I met in Arizona at a Energy Workshop When she entered the room for
the event singing, I heard the most exquisite sound and vibration and
felt her voice deeply connect to my soul. I just began to cry from the
    sheer beauty I experienced.

Dr. Joseph Gallenberger author of Heaven is For Healing was also a guest
of the show and his grief healing meditation and music CD “The Ocean
Heart” can be heard at the radio page Special Edition March 2018 ….

Another healer and musician David Young plays two flutes at the same
time and is also an artist who downloads healing energies in his work.
Davids show can be heard on December 25, 2017 on radio page….

Jill Mattson also a former guest of the show shared her Healing Flower
Symphonies and sound healing books with our audience. Go to my radio
page and access her show Vibrational Music for Healing April 10 2015……..

Music like vibration is the love and healing energy of the Universe and
can shift our cellular structure allowing for healing and new
perspectives to be acknowledged and absorbed. If you pay attention and
listen to people’s voices you can discern a great deal of the soul
quality life path and destiny interests and how they are feeling in the
moment. So let’s listen to nature music people and life and learn the
language of higher frequency for love and happiness.

How do these frequency infused audios actually work? Science has agreed
that the world around us is comprised of vibration energy and
frequency—not just the physical world but every thought emotion belief
situation etc. etc. also has it own unique frequency, or as Dr. Richard
Bartlett puts it, “ patterns of light and information”. Taking this one
step further science has also now proven that through quantum
entanglement, “patterns of light and information of any thought emotion
or intention can be imprinted on a physical object in turn affect the
    world around us.

Scientists like Dr. William Tiller and Dr. Masaru Emoto have proven
this: Dr. Tiller successfully altered the ph of water by imprinting an
electrical circuit with this specific intention, and Dr. Emoto proved
emotions alter the crystalline structure of water…loving emotions show
beautiful patterns and destructive ugly words display dysfunctional
patterns like cancer cells. Seeming disease can be imprinted on the body
by the environment and people we associate with. Negative dysfunctional
    language can create illness.

The healers who create frequency-infused audios have the ability to
first channel high, pure Source energies, then with focused intent,
encode an mp3 with these specific frequencies. When these audios are
played, their high frequencies are transmitted and new information is
introduced into your field and into your consciousness: on the quantum
level, you actually receive new Light and data. As your consciousness
and energy field entrain to new frequencies, your physical reality
begins to shift and your awareness opens to new possibilities.

Another helpful quote Everything is energy and that’s all there is to
it. Match the frequency of the reality your want and you cannot help but
get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This
    is physics. Bashar

Other spiritual modalities or tools that work alongside the use of
frequency infused audios to create a more balanced life are how vision
boards and affirmations and prayers work: they help entrain you to the
frequency of what you want to create: so frequency infused audios can be
used as an effective manifestation tool.

For example if you are experiencing a lack of abundance, play a money
miracles audio and this will entrain you to success and prosperity; if
you are suffering from grief, play an emotional healing audio and you’ll
find yourself entraining to higher states of peace and joy.

Many other healing modalities work us to understand yourself better and
energy and Universal Source at a higher level. Sheryl says..”I have
studied Reiki energy healing reflexology cranial sacral therapy yoga
worked in meditation groups and a mystery school group as well as
running for years an unfoldment group for my students and hospice
volunteer work for eight years as well as returning to teaching in an
inner city school to work with Special Ed students before starting my
Reiki practice twenty years ago and writing several books.

Focus on frequency and be open to form Wendy Kennedy

Listeners of these audios have reported amazing results, often quickly.
Simply by shifting your frequency, miracles can occur.

For example these audios can help:

    Attract abundance
    Clear and align chakras
    Clear limiting beliefs
    Revitalize and rejuvenate the body
    Balance hormones
    Heal grief and emotional pain
    Increase energy
    Strengthen your energy field
    Increase psychic ability
Clear dark energy from a room and so much more Try for yourself!

Ellen is also a visionary artists who channels images of Atlantis and
high spiritual realms and other star systems. That is a great gift and
    responsibility…

Science has agreed that the world around us is comprised of vibration
energy and frequency—even our thoughts feeling and beliefs have their
own unique frequency. However the experiments of Dr. William Tiller and
Dr. Masaru Emoto have taken it one step further: they have proven that
thought frequencies can be imprinted onto physical objects—even digital
recordings writings artwork. Audios infused with healing frequencies
transmit these high energies entraining our consciousness and energy
field to new possibilities and subsequently causing our physical reality
    to shift.

The PureLight app serves as a marketplace for frequency infused audio
where users can browse categories healers and search for whatever they
need at the present time. Many of the audios on the app are FREE to
    download.

The healers on PureLight each have their own screen as does each audio
track. The app has a dedicated audio player so it is possible to listen
to single audios and make playlists. When audios are downloaded the
instructions for how to use them are downloaded as well.

Some of the audios contain talking: others contain Light language,
binaural beats, soft music or voice toning and others are completely
silent. Some require active listening, but many can be looped during the
day or while sleeping with the volume lowered or muted. Results can
sometimes be achieved instantly: for others it may take longer for
frequency entrainment to create shifts in their life. This is the latest
in consciousness technology and very effective for creating positive
    change.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing from Within” we become aware
of the messages and love from the Universe that resonates in many gifted
people who bring to Life the eternal nature of a creative Life Force or
Source so we may remember and reconnect to the many spiritual gifts and
abilities that we as divine humans are blessed to have and to discover
use and that leads us to higher consciousness joy peace happiness and
healing. As citizens of the Universe or children of a higher
intelligence of eternal life, we would always be accompanied by teachers
loved ones guides to find the beauty of nature music art children and
positivity for as they love us unconditionally we learn to give love
release fear and find our true potential so we may help the world to
expand into heaven on earth. Surely knowing one life is but a drop in
the ocean of eternity is comforting and uplifting and that we have the
music of the Universe to awaken us is empowering.

Ellen and Sheryl would have you listen to the sounds of people’s voices
and children music and the sounds in nature and start to become aware of
the sounds and the silence which bring you closer to your own soul
essence and awareness of life in its infinite beauty and magnificent
    potential for love and peace.

  • Actions taken now may determine our future
Welcome to Healing From Within. I am your host Sheryl Glick author of The Living Spirit Answers for Healing and Infinite Love which shares stories that illuminate the reality of life in all aspects and ways to utilize healing energies, intuition, and our higher selves to create a healthy prosperous life for ourselves and others and am delighted to welcome Daniel Pinchbeck author of How Soon Is Now? who will show us how the ecological crisis we are experiencing now can provide an opportunity for a rapid evolution of human society on all levels.

As listeners of the show over time have come to expect, my guests and I share intimate stories and insights in the hopes of once again remembering who we are as spiritual beings having a physical life with the hopes of balancing the best of our connections to each other and our physical world, to create health, prosperity, balance, compassion, love and a unified humanity and world.

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” Daniel Pinchbeck who is also the author of Breathing Open The Head and Notes From The Edge Times and other books, covers everything from energy and agriculture, politics, media and ideology, in order to understand the nature of the soul and the future of our current world.

Thinking back to his childhood Daniel remembers the many creative talented people who his parents as artists living in New York City were associated with and lived in a very open liberal mindset and creative artistic community of ideas social philosophy and gifted people.

That brings us to the world of today which is much different than the thoughts and expectations of that time in Daniel’s life. Many of us are busy trying to understand how our world has gotten to be on the brink of an ecological mega crisis and how we must begin to think of ways to change what is obvious to so many at this challenging time in our national and world history. This is not fantasy but true.

Postmodern civilization is already a pseudo—utopia. Over the last few centuries we have constructed an artificial paradise of consumer good—the society of the spectacle—for those with the resources to enjoy it. Unfortunately this artificial paradise is built on excessive waste and ecological destruction. It has created misery for those on the margins, the victims of famines, wars and genocides. By addressing its flaws we can realize the next manifestation of our genius as a species and perhaps achieve in comparison a true utopia. I don’t think a dieback of the human population is inevitable, perhaps, I refuse to believe it. But the longer we wait to re-launch our societal operating system, the more difficult it will be to avert planetary catastrophe. We have already waited too long.

In his book Daniel tells us of the philosopher Ken Wilber and his model called spiral dynamics which Sheryl found most interesting. The philosopher Ken Wilber tracks the evolution of consciousness through a model called spiral dynamics. According to his analysis the leading edge of consciousness since the 1960’s has been the post modern worldview characterized by terms like diversity, inclusion, pluralism, but also moving towards individualism and relativism. The post modern worldview rejects hierarchies and absolutes, and believes in equal rights for all. Unfortunately the negative pole of this worldview leads to the belief that there is no privileged position and no independent truth.

When all truth is seen as entirely subjective and contextually contingent there is no reason to believe anything at all…Sheryl says “This could be a problem.” Taken to extremes, the postmodern worldview collapses into narcissism and nihilism. The extreme right identified the flaw in this worldview. They weaponized its extreme relativism—which Wilber calls “a perspectival madness—to ...

  • A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO BURMA BUDDHISM AND FREEDOM

Welcome to “Healing From Within”. I am your host Sheryl Glick author of

The Living Spirit Answers for Healing and Infinite Love which shares
stories of spiritual awakenings spiritual communication healing energies
miracles and a clear view to using intuition to understand your
spiritual and energetic life force and today welcome Feroze Dada author
of Children of the Revolution who shares the long and violent struggle
for freedom heroism and hope by the people of Burma. It is often in
viewing or experiencing the challenges of the world that we unravel the
layers of our true being and become what we have always been: free.

As listeners of “Healing From Within” are well aware Sheryl and her

guests share our intimate experiences and insights into the dual nature
of life as spiritual beings having a physical life and learning to use
the Universal Laws of energy to provide for personal growth and
development ultimately bringing about greater love compassion and a
clearer view of the human condition.

Feroze thinks back to his childhood and remembers people places or

events that may have shown them or others what path in life they might
travel and what passions values or lifestyle they might embrace as
adults. He tells us that his cousins were second cousins born in a
remote part of British India and members of a well-off family of traders
of grain. Feroze was the oldest of three brothers and my father was a
strict disciplinarian We all went to Catholic school not because of the
religion but because they wanted the best education for us. There were
no hugs no bonding. My father was very distant and my mother was my best
friend. In college I was in a rock band and captain of my college
cricket team. I was caught in a girls house and her parents reported me.
It was quite an ordeal and Feroze was sent to London to live with some
family friends. It wasn’t like Miami sunny with skyscrapers but I did
begin work at a small firm of accountants. Soon he was making good money
and joined Brondesbury Cricket Club. The club boasts an impressive roll
call of alumni. By 1982 he had become a tax specialist with a well known
London firm and was invited by a friend Imran Khan one of Pakistan’s
leading politician where I met my wife Mu Mu. She was born in Burma but
had lived in Pakistan most of her life. Mu Mu studied psychology and
joined the Japanese Embassy as cultural officer. She still had a large
family of cousins in Burma and that eventually took us there after
living in London for thirty years and raising two children. This was the
time of life where we could afford to met new interests and charitable
work and what lead to the writing of this book.

Feroze decided to write this book and donate all proceeds to the

monastery school and orphanage at Inle Phaya Taung. The idea for the
book started when Feroze met Major a Pa’O guerilla at a family gathering
in Myanmar Burma. Major relates the persecution of his people faced in
their struggle for equality and freedom. They are near beautiful inlet
Lake in Shan State and a storm drives Feroze and Major ashore and they
shelter at the Phaya Taung monastery where Feroze meets the Head Monk
Phongyi who is passionately caring for and teaching more than 600
orphaned and refugee children of the revolutionary wars. There are one
and a half million orphans in Myanmar a country scarred by the ravages
of internal strife and decades of repression.

We meet Phongyi who has endured a desperately hard childhood but was

accepted into the monastery at Lin Lam to further his education and how
he influenced you. Phongyi believes the path to enlightenment peace and
compassion is through education and he has two ambitions to generate an
income to feed and educate the ever-increasing number of children at the
monastery and to improve the health in the community around the
    monastery.

The Dali Lama has given the Foreword to Children of the Revolution..tell

us something of his interest in the Burmese children and that part of
    the world.

Buddha quote says “Every morning we are born again What we do today is

    what matters most.”

Sheryl says: I believe the Dali Lama offers that same ideology to be in

the present moment to create and find joy, not in the past, nor worrying
    about the future.

As an endorsement to this book The Dali Lama wrote, “Burma’s internal

conflict in the past several decades has had a drastic impact on the
lives of its people. Children of the Revolution is an encouraging
account of a Burmese monk’s effort to alleviate their plight especially
that of the children. The author Feroze Dada gives a moving account of
the monk’s work and talks about his own efforts to support a school and
care center for destitute Burmese children started by the monk in his
monastery. I offer my prayers for their success.” September 18, 2014

Feroze tells us about the plight of these destitute Burmese children.

Feroze arrived in Burma in 2009—twenty years after the military rulers
decided to change its name to Myanmar and end the country’s last
vestiges of its colonial past. Burma has a turbulent past and uncertain
future like most of the developing third world nations where tribalism
religion and separation provide a lack of acceptance of those different
from you and divide the people usually leading to war death and harm to
families most especially the children of these transitional societies.
Burma is struggling to come to terms with democracy. Though free
elections took place in 2010 after fifty years of military rule deep
cultural and religious divisions remain. President Thein Sein who had
been the prime minister in the previous military administration now
promised greater freedom for his people. The US and European Union
dropped all non military sanctions and promised developed aid. Despite
this Burma remains a fragile and volatile country with continued unrest
of economic migrants and religiously persecuted people attempting to
    flee its boarders and shores.

Sheryl says…we see this playing out across The middle East most

especially Syria whose five year Civil War has caused the deaths of over
500 thousand people and destroyed much of the civilized towns and
country. And also in Venezuela we have watched the decline to poverty
fighting and large populations leaving the country. In South and Central
America it is no different. Where democracy and education have been slow
to replace or work alongside of tribal and uninformed leaders progress
and improved conditions are not possible.

We find out how Feroze became involved in his work to help bring change

to the children of a monastery inspired by Phongyis and Major’s refusal
to be passive in the face of struggle and peppered with Buddhist stories
of compassion taught to the orphans, Feroze suddenly steps out of his
role as story teller and helps to realize Phongy’s dream to provide a
future for the children. Critically he eventually manages to make Phaya
Taung financially independent by setting up a drinking water bottling
plant for both the monastery an community making use of the natural
springs on the monastery land. The practicalities of realizing this are
extremely difficult as Phaya Taung is in the middle of nowhere and there
is no electricity on the site. Despite these obstacle Feroze raises the
funds negotiates his way through the monumental complexities of the
permissions putting in place the resources for the design and delivery
    of Ko Yin mineral water.

Feroze discovered a country of many contrasts with a beautiful landscape

of mountains jungles and rivers. Burma is at a crossroads. The country
is rich in natural resources including timber oil gas and rice as well a
a source of many precious stones such as rubies and sapphires but the
economy is one of the least developed in the world. Corruption is rife,
as is large scale trafficking in heroin. There are many reasons why
there are so many abandoned children in Burma Conflict yes but also
poverty disease particularly malaria and TB and natural disasters such
as the devastating cyclone in 2008 that took at least 140,00 lives.

This book is also the challenge for Feroze as a Muslim absorbing

Buddhist philosophy and building a bridge of peace which offers a
transformative view about how to live a meaningful life that will bring
education and hope to thousands of Burmese children.

Peace comes from within Do not seek it without Buddha

Feroze wrote, “You discover that both the freedom fighter and the

Buddhist monk are in different ways forces of nature or men of action
and while you learn about their lives, you also find the human goodness
that shines in the darkness of war and you witness the path of dharma in
the world. You cannot fail to be encouraged by Phongyi’s example to go
beyond one’s imagination because there is no limit.

Feroze tells us about MuMu his Burmese wife and how she has influenced

your views and desire to participate fully in helping the Burmese
people. My journey of self-discovery as we moved between my metropolitan
western life and Taunggyi in the northeast of Burma where Mu Mu’s family
lives has helped me find a new reality and purpose.

Feroze wrote, “I thought I had achieved much, but I was wrong. The whole

process of realizing what was missing and then inadvertently discovering
how to live a truly meaningful life, and was in itself a remarkable
spiritual journey. It might never have happened had I not fallen in love
with a woman from Burma and if she had not introduced me to a tribal
warrior and if he had not taken me to a remote monastery and if I had
not met a remarkable monk. And if he had not shown me the faces of
hundreds of children—many of them orphans. The world I entered could not
have been more different than my own. I had no map no compass and no
real idea where my adventure was to take me. My destination was clouded
by my own lack of purpose and fulfillment. I sensed that something was
missing from my world. But I had no idea what.”

Another key player in the book is Major who helped you see and

understand the regional conflict amplified by ideological differences
including the rise of communism in the east as well as the ethnic and
tribal rivalries and the turf wars to control the cash from the
lucrative opium trade. Tell us about this character. The Major who
learned his survival skills early in life smuggled cattle across to
Thailand in order to pay for his education. He went on to join the PNO
at one time the largest insurgent force in Burma and now the political
and welfare arm of the Pa”O courageously providing valuable assistance
in the movement of fighters supplies and information between the
training camps in Thailand and the conflict zones with the government
    troops.

At the time the young Major was making his way in the world of the

revolutionary fighter, the Monk Pongyi was returning to the monastery in
his native Shan province after completing his formal Theravada Buddhist
    training in Yangon.

Phonghyi believed that only education could help his people. By the time

he returned to Lin Lam the PNO fighting against the government forces in
the mountains had split into two warring factions—the Red Pa’O and the
White Pa’O. The Red Pa’O had aligned themselves with the Burmese
Communist Party or BCP and life in the towns and villages became even
more precarious and the refugee problems were soon to be overwhelming.
By 1986 a fragile peace allowed Phonhyi to start work on his
establishing his primary school and then the middle school followed by
1993. The doors were opened to 450 orphans of the wars. Life was very
difficult and in particular feed of the children a huge challenge.

Phongyi’s and Major’s stories bring us together with Feroze at the

monastery and one night during a severe storm Feroze Mu Mu and Major
begin their effort together to support this orphanage. We can begin to
learn from the Buddhist monk some of the wisdom that comes from a true
sense of compassion matched to a deep intellect and by seeing the
Perfections or Paramitas by seeing them in practice at the monastery

Feroze tells us how Buddhism offers a transformative vision about how to

live a meaningful life. Some of the quotes below from Budda express much
about the importance of finding wisdom within self-growth acceptance and
a willingness to release many of the ego based illusions of our societal
and parental training and to follow a path of rightful living thinking
and action according to the Four Noble Truths and The Eight Path Life
    Style.

As Buddha said, “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon

    and the truth.”

Then Buddha said, “ There are only two mistakes one can make along the

road to the truth: not going all the way and not starting.”

Listening is a key tenant of all spiritual practices and Buddhism.

Buddha said “ We are what we think All that we are arises with our

thoughts, With our thoughts we make the world.”

Feroze was awakened to a new way of observing himself and others and new

feelings when he met Ahwin Kaw Kaw the eldest member of his wife’s clan
who was about eighty years old with a heavily lined face and very
healthy for a man that age he noticed that when he spoke he was not just
calm and softly spoken but there was a look of total contentment in hise
    eyes and across his face.

Feroze asked him his secret and he responded, “I have very little but I

need even less.” But Feroze was interested in what he meant in the
spiritual context. He gave a smile and said, I do mean spiritually. I am
content to be alive and I thank God for every day that he gives me….the
tree can only be as strong as the love and nourishment it gets.

He sent Feroze to the lake and told him that it would change his life

    forever.

Mu Mu told him that Ahwin was a remarkable man, a palmist and

clairvoyant but he stopped using his special gift because he believed
foretelling the future whether good of bad interferes with the natural
balance of life so by telling him to go to the lake he was giving him a
special message or insight into what was possible for Feroze to discover
    about himself and his future.

Intel Lake is home to about seventy thousand people called Inthas. Most

of them make their living from fishing and from farming. The sacred
imagery of the area, the energy of adventure the tranquility of the lake
were helping me find an unaccustomed inner peace. It was in this
environment that I was to meet a man who would play a significant part
in changing the course of my life. Feroze was introduced to me as Major
the manager of a hotel He was well known and had a distinct bold and
confident look. He had spent years as a rebel fighter, fighting the
military government. His actions led to Burma being granted independence
in 1948. Burma had been under British rule until it was invaded by the
Japanese during the second World War.

Feroze would love readers to take away with them after reading Children

of the Revolution that in 2013 the Government of Burma spent less than 4
percent of its budget on health care compared to twenty percent on the
military Sanitation and access to clean drinking water remains a prime
concern. Much of the underlying blame comes from a lack of education.
Against shocking statistics a small monastery was able to throw a
lifeline to so many children who would otherwise have become casualties
of this country’s fragile environment. A monk with a handful of helpers
performed nothing short of a miracle. Buddhism has held a remarkable
place in Burma and conquering the problems of the outer world as we seek
peace within and our divine love of life and the eternal nature of
    Spirit.

I want to thank Feroze Dada author of Children of the Revolution for

sharing your journey of inspiration for living with authenticity and
purpose, and for sharing the story of all who are connected with the
monastery in Burma now known as Myanmar, and continuing support of
orphaned children in a land with much beauty and culture but still with
a history of much unrest war poverty and corruption as many try to
bridge the divide between the past and future and help the country to
evolve into a democratic way of life.

In summarizing today’s episode of Healing From Within Feroze Dada shows

us how over time and circumstances one may open their hearts to the
greatest challenges of life, overcome the physical or ego based reality
and to once again remember that healing and living with purpose is
within each person’s reach. We must allow ourselves to move past self
absorption and to care for others and the world of nature and people
with a passion that opens the heart to really knowing that a life well
lived is about cooperation community family friends and sharing ALL that
you have- mind body and soul as you pour your resources into the world
and begin to make changes within your own thinking as you provide health
awareness, education and love to those in need.

This is not just the story of success at an orphanage in the Phaya Taung

monastery, but a call to recognize places all over this planet where
people, most especially women and children suffer at the hands of those
who chose greed and corruption, military might over healing, and who
work against the natural intuitive needs of all humans which is to be
provided with their natural birth right: safety security and a sense of
    hope and well being.

As Feroze wrote, “Globally there are nearly 800 million people without

access to drinking water and three times as many without adequate
sanitation. Every minute of every hour of every day, a child dies from
water related illnesses. All this is a sobering thought, and I am
acutely aware that what we have been attempting at Phaya Taung is only a
drop in the ocean. But I ho0pe that where we lead others will follow. It
has been an incredible experience frustrating and bewildering certainly,
and at times physically draining, but extraordinarily rewarding. We were
getting back far more than we were giving…..”

Feroze Mu Mu and the people of Burma would have you know that all our

lives are the better for seeing the beauty of an ancient culture the
smiles of the children and the beauty of the lake and landscape.
Wherever there is love there is a way forward to improve conditions and
to advance life so we may move past any suffering to joy and happiness.
It begins with one person perhaps…

  • COMMUNICATION FOR SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIPS
In today’s episode of Healing From Within your host Sheryl Glick author
of The Living Spirit Answers for Healing and Infinite Love that shares
stories of spiritual awakening, spiritual communication, healing
energies, miracles and a way to empower yourself for greater health
prosperity and happiness welcomes Jonathan Robinson author of his new
book MORE LOVE Less Conflict who will help you recognize the stress in
your relationships and suggest simple easy communication skills that can
set things right. Jonathan Robinson is a former guest of the show and
listeners may go to my website www.sherylglick.com to hear a previous
episode of “Healing From Within” as we discuss another of his books
Finding Happiness Go to the radio page link to March 23, 2015

Jonathan as listeners of Healing From Within are well aware my guests

and I share intimate personal and insightful stories that help us pay
more attention to our thoughts and actions as we begin to see past the
physical constraints some misbeliefs, habits and patterns, so engrained
in our functioning that may cause pain and dysfunction. It appears that
when we realize our dual nature as both spiritual and physical beings
and use the right tools, understandings and lifestyle, we can find
improved relationships, peace love and success in joyful living.

In today’s episode Jonathan Robinson psychologist and author of 12 books

has made numerous appearance on the Oprah show and has articles in USA
today Newsweek and The Los Angeles Times and co-hosts the podcast
“Awareness Explorers” states that everyone really wants care,
understanding and empathy, in their relationship, however, the Four
Culprits or the Four Horseman of the Relationship
Apocalypse..Denigration Denial Dismissal and Distraction separate us
from having the best interaction with our partners and indeed all
people. We will discover some of the 30 simple easy to implement
practical communication strategies to dissipate the tension create more
connection and ramp up the love even suggesting ways to get resistant
    partners to participate.

Jonathan tell us that he wrote Communication Miracles for Couples twenty

years ago and the nature of life and relationships has changed a lot
since then. No one has a computer from 20 years ago because technology
has advanced so much in the past two decades. In a similar way people
need to update their methods of communication to keep up with the
changing times. A lot of books on communication and relationships offer
good ideas and theories but little in the way of simple powerful and
precise methods. MORE LOVE Less Conflict offers good ideas and easy
practical techniques that lead to more love trust and connection. Any
person using these methods should be able to consistently create
communication miracles in their own lives.

Jonathan tells us what might be seen as a communication miracle. A

communication miracle might be when you find yourself resisting using
the exercises and skills in this book because a part of you wants to
argue, be right, or play the victim and then you decide to use these
exercises and give up self-righteousness, blaming and victimhood. Giving
these things up is indeed hard, but being lost in blame and feeling
separate from your wife is even harder and more painful. By overcoming
resistance to these techniques for better communication and making then
into a ritual that you call on often, you can have a better result and
relationship more of the time engaging in conversations and
participating in actions that align to your growth and positivity and
add to the wellbeing of your relationship as well. For this to happen,
you must be a keen observer waiting before acting on any impulse and
learning to for the most part be proactive not reactive. These acquired
skills need you to be patient non-judgmental and open to all
    possibilities-not closed minded.

Jonathan gives us examples of several simple methods described in the

book. There are a lot of great methods but here are two that are very
    easy to remember.

First, there is a method called, “If you really knew me.” Partners or

friends take two minutes completing the sentence. If you really knew me
you’d know I love to meditate. If you really knew me you would know I
wish I were a kinder person. If you really knew me you would know I get
nervous during these interviews. By repeatedly completing that sentence
for two minutes it helps people quickly get to a place of increasing
    vulnerability and intimacy.

A second method is simply called “The Appreciation Practice.” In this

method, couples take turns saying something they have appreciated about
their partner recently. It could be a trait their partner has or
something they did, or something they may have said. By sharing many
things we appreciate about our partner, it makes the love stronger and
shows our partner what is important to us. Once they know what we
appreciates they’re more likely to do those things in the future.

Another part of the process opening up a good dialogue between people

wishing to improve their communication begins with “Five Simple
    Questions.”

What stories am I telling myself about this situation

    What do I really want?
    What am I feeling?
What do I imagine my partner is thinking, wanting, and feeling?
How can I listen and express myself in a way that shows my partner my
    care understanding and empathy?

We are all aware that with the divorce rate almost reaching 50% of all

married couples so many couples are having a hard time nowadays even
more than in the past perhaps.

Well life is more stressful than ever, so if you don’t have great

methods to communicate, it can be easy to all into either blame or
increasing distance or distraction via TV and the internet. Most people
have little or no training in how to communicate in a way that fosters
deep trust and intimacy so their results aren’t very good. The good news
is a little knowledge and practice can go a long way. By reading a
single book on communication most people can learn little tricks and
methods that put them leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else. It has
helped Jonathan not only create a good marriage but has also lead to a
lot of friends and career success.

Another simple and helpful way to divert a fight or calamity is to have

a key word or phrase that alerts your partner that things are heating up
and going to explode. Jonathan uses the term “Yellow Light” when things
are starting to go bad and when his wife hears it they both know it’s
    time for a time out.

As a psychotherapist Jonathan sees a lot of couples in counseling and

Sheryl asks him what is the most common issue he sees coming up over and
over again. In his office Jonathan finds couples almost always complain
about not feeling fully understood or appreciated by their partner. Also
blame is very common. Helping your partner feel understood appreciated
and loved are indeed the ingredients to successful partnering. This must
be accomplished by paying attention listening and being consistent when
asked to help or change some behaviors that negatively impact the other
    person and ultimately your relationship

Sheryl says… “As a Reiki energy practitioner teacher and medium I have

discovered that many people simply want to love and be loved, but do not
realize The Universal Law of Attraction is in play for all action we
take and this law shows why it is so hard to accomplish what we desire
or need when it states “What you send out into the world in the way of
thoughts and actions is returned to you.” Therefore, the best way to
achieve what you need or want is to become more of that state of being
you wish to see in others. Work first on yourself to cultivate loving
ways actions and thoughts . Become more loving accepting interesting
joyful helpful kind and fun. Find joyful pursuits that help you
understand yourself better. How can we truly know another person, if we
have not begun a self-investigative process to know ourselves in a
    clearer and more complete way.”

In her book The Living Spirit Sheryl addressed this very important issue

and wrote, “ Each of us is unique and we are on different karmic and
energetic pursuits. As we learn to apply energetic laws and use them
more consistently, we will help created a more harmonious world. Those
who understand and live by these Laws of Energy or follow the virtues of
patience humility faith love respect honor and kindness will have less
friction and fewer confrontations in their relationships. Individual
practicing the higher laws of Spirit may share this expanding wisdom and
state of harmony with others and be an influence for change as their
behavior and actions exhibit a positive energy state. With greater
knowledge comes a greater responsibility to exchange these ideas with
    those who will listen.”

In other words the change begins with each of us and as we cannot change

the other person we can only provide for our own happiness and personal
growth through attention to our own behaviors, thoughts, actions and
hopes, for continuing acceptance love and seeing what is best in each of
us, and allowing whatever needs to change in its own time. In other
words, we must all do a personal assessment of our own contributing
factors to any unsatisfactory relationship, without blaming the other
person who is only following their own view of the world as they
perceive it to be. We can avoid being drawn into situations that are not
in tune with our needs or goals, but must allow others the way to find
their own truth, even if we see it as not suitable for our development.

Jonathan shares one very important thing couples can do to quickly

improve the quality of their relationship. According to research by Dr.
John Gottman a conscious practice of telling your partner what you
appreciate about them quickly helps to improve the quality of any
relationship. In addition, increasing the amount of empathy makes a big
difference in how satisfied partners are with each other. In my book I
have exercises that help couples to increase empathy in a very safe and
    practical way.

When asked how long he has been married and if he and his wife have an

easy no conflict marriage he responds that they don’t have a conflict
free relationship and he doubts anyone actually does. And that is why he
initially studied communication. Fortunately as we’ve practiced various
communication methods our intimacy has increased and our conflicts have
decreased. Without such knowledge and skills, I don’t think we would
have survived as a couple because my wife and I are very different.
We’ve learned to enjoy each other’s differences and each other over the
    years.

Sheryl believes nothing, including the family we are born into and the

relationships we choose, or that choose us, is random. Perhaps many
people are attracted to what they believe to be someone so different
from themselves, but, in actuality are only mirroring their own
weaknesses strengths or needs for improvement and growth. Perhaps, we
are not as different as we first appear when we take a deeper look at
ourselves and our partners. Every relationship offers us opportunities
to see ourselves more clearly and to change what needs to change within
    us.

Sheryl says that it is important to remember that despite differences or

similarities, we all have an innate soul life plan and journey, and if
we are not allowed to pursue and develop our spiritual gifts, we will
become bitter ill or dissatisfied with life. We cannot allow anyone,
even a spouse or relative to damage our soul needs. We must learn to
identify what is important to us and develop resilience patience and
other virtues that allow us to pursue our own interests, without
disturbing others from their own needs. I wish I knew that so long ago
when all my husband wanted to do was play golf every Sunday and I wanted
him to engage in family activities. He never did make that shift but I
found friends who engaged in family activities and developed other ways
to find enjoyment after deciding it wasn’t worth fighting over. He
really did need that activity to let off steam after a hard week of
work. I see that now, thought, it wasn’t as apparent to me then.

Jonathan gives a final piece of advice for people wanting to improve any

of their relationships. The biggest factor in determining a person’s
level of happiness is the quality of their relationships. The biggest
factor in establishing good quality relationships is the ability to
communicate effectively. Therefore my advice is to take a bit of time
and learn effective ways to communicate that actually aid you in knowing
yourself and others better, which ultimately leads to greater
acceptance, love, and appreciation for each other and life in general.
Satisfaction in our own accomplishments and appreciating the efforts and
accomplishments of others is the key to finding peace which is quite
simply accepting yourself and others as they are, without trying to
manipulate or change them, as that only breeds anger and pain. Flowing
in life as the river flows to the ocean without obstruction and sabotage
are indeed good beginnings for developing the language and behaviors
that encourage smiles and cooperation rather than excessive control
competition and an inappropriate view of yourself and others.

Jonathan and Sheryl offer suggestions for improving communication that

is not face to face—such as text and emails.

First it might be advisable to know that men and women communicate

differently. On average women speak about thirteen thousand more words a
day than men. Two things happen in a man’s brain when a woman says to
him, “We need to talk.” Initially he figures he’s in some kind of
trouble. Of course, that doesn’t feel good. Next, he thinks to himself:
This talk is probably going to go on forever. To counteract that problem
simply set a specific time frame for important communication.

As far as text and e-mails men would find it easier to deal with texts

and e-mail, while women want actual face to face engagement. Also
technology is creating an even greater divide in the time men and women
spend together, and it is beginning now early on as children and
teenagers rely so heavily on their phones and technology. They will not
be able to know how to talk to friends and partners about many feelings
and issues if this behavior is not counteracted with other ways to
improve and understand communication skills. We cannot allow a
deterioration of proper etiquette and behavior in relationships. Effort
patience awareness and consistency is once again the way to deal with
common issues of communication. Relationships are being harmed by
addictive and overuse of communicating with social media tools.

Some of the main obstacles to people having better communication are a

society intent on accumulating material success and paying attention to
the demands of other people and being caught up in their own stories and
perceptions many of which have not been looked at and changed for
optimum happiness and success. Also LISTENING SKILLS are poor.

Most people are not good listeners. They are intent on expressing their

own thoughts and concerns. A listening technique you suggest which can
help people become better listeners is quite simple. You Talk….I’ll
Listen In this technique partners take turns speaking without any
interruptions for a specified length of time. .. typically 3 or 4
    minutes.

While one partner speaks the other’s job is to the listen making a

conscious effort to avoid distractions and interruptions . Once the
first person is done, the partners trade roles.

If you find yourself having a hard time knowing what to say here are

some sentence prompts that may help you get started.

What’s been going on with me lately?

Something I’ve been seeing or learning in my life is……
In our relationship, I’ve been noticing….
    Lately, I’ve been concerned about……
    Lately. I’ve been hoping….

It is also important to discover the ways that a person “recognizes love

is being expressed” and it is different for each of us. These ways that
we begin to feel that love is expressed happens in childhood. If your
father always gave you small presents when he traveled for business you
will now appreciate small gifts from your husband. If your Mother asked
you to pick up food or cleaning and appreciated acts of service as an
adult you may expect need or wish for the same type of action from your
partner and feel loved as a result of these gestures or behaviors. In
his book The Five Love Languages Gary Chapman describes the five primary
languages in which partners give and receive love: words of affirmation,
acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time and physical touch. It’s
helpful to know your own particular love language, but it’s even more
useful to understand how your partner receives love from you.

Jonathan shares suggestion for how couples avoid arguments?

By beginning to talk about their feelings and needs on a regular basis

so they don’t keep repeating the same habitual problems.

Here is an exercise to begin to communicate and understand how to

    resolve an on- going problem.

Partner 1 What’s been going on with me is…tell your story. Partner 2

What I heard was….summarize what you heard)

Partner 1 I would also like to add….clarify anything that was missed

    during the recap.

Partner 2 What I got from your sharing is…summarize the most important

    thing you learned.

Here is an example of the above process. This interaction must go on

many times in many situations before partners will be able to resolve
many of these issues and avoid resentment blame and anger.

So Jane shares that she is doing all the work and not receiving help

    from Joe.

Joe says that what he hears is that Jane is upset because she would like

him to put in his fair share of the work. He also heard that a clean
    house makes her feel better.

Jane says She would like to add that she doesn’t feel appreciated for

all she is doing. She is being taken for granted and resents that.

Joe says that what he got from her sharing is she feels resentful and

not appreciated for all the work she is doing and values a clean house
and wants to be appreciated for all she does.

Smart phones have a real effect on our communication skills. Taking

responsibility is actually hard to do. We often see other’s mistakes
much more clearly than our own Moreover taking responsibility makes us
feel vulnerable and true vulnerability is not easy to bear. Smart phones
are having an extreme effect on our behaviors and state of well being
and we must be responsible in handling advanced technology using it
properly. Setting up some guidelines with your partner could be helpful.
For example if you both decide not to use your cell phone when at a
restaurant movie or when the other person is trying to talk to you. No
one wants to talk to a person whose head is in his phone..it is
dismissive and simply rude showing no repect for the other person.
Phones should not be near you when you are sleeping as the electronic
waves and light are disruptive to a healthy night’s rest. When dealing
with your children you should be giving them your complete attention and
eye contact as often as possible. This all bodes well for showing loving
empathic and cooperative ways to interact.

Jonathan says that in real estate there’s a saying that people are

looking for “location, location, location”….In communication people are
really looking for validation that they are important to you and you are
a valued member of the family business or event. In Jonathan’s opinion
they are really looking to be understood known and appreciated loved and
cared for. Only the development of empathy within you can help you
understand yourself, and then allow you to know that others share many
of the same issues fears and limitations and simply need to be reminded
all will pass from this moment to the next, whether we engage and fight,
or reflect and find ways for everyone to exist in cooperation and
harmony. Once you enter the space of blame you can never find what you
or your partner are looking for. Eliminate blame from all conflict and
the world will truly be a different place. Accept responsibility for
    yourself……

There a simple technique that can help a person deal with a difficult or

    highly upset person.

When you are upset with your partner it is easy to fall into the old

patterns of fight flight or freeze. Self empathy allows you to feel calm
and understood without having to rely n your partners communication
skills. Once you feel better your communication with your partner will
be more effective. Another quick way to take care of yourself and slow
down the action is to try stretching yawning or taking some mindful deep
    breaths.

Whenever you sense that a conversation is veering into an argument or is

filled with blame, try the following exercise. It involves each partner
to reveal how their specific words or actions contributed to a specific
    conflict.

Ask yourself: How has my behavior contributed to the problem at hand.

Ask yourself: How have any of my shortcomings made this more difficult
    for my partner?

Ask yourself: Have I said or done something or not said or done

something that has contributed to this problem. Share these answers with
your partner Apologizing is hard on the ego which is why most people
don’t do it but would you rather be right and self-righteous or would
you rather be loved by your partner. You choose. You can rarely have
    both.

We have concluded that indeed men and women communicate differently On

average women speak about thirteen thousand more words a day than men.
Two things happen in a man’s brain when a woman says to him, “We need to
talk.” Initially he figures he’s in some kind of trouble. Of course,
that doesn’t feel good. Next, he thinks to himself: This talk is
probably going to go on forever. To counteract that problem simply set a
specific time frame for important communication.

Just because we tell our partners what bothers us does not mean they’ll

refrain from those behaviors. To be fully in control of our destiny we
need to be familiar with our own triggers or responses that make us lose
our balance and then act badly and we must work to become less reactive
to them. Unfortunately, most people are more familiar with their
partner’s triggers than their own. This leads them to put all their
energy into trying to change their partners rather than changing
themselves and Sheryl believes this is more prevalent in the way women
approach achieving what they want in their relationships. This leads to
heartache and failure in communicating for the truth is we cannot change
anyone if they don’t see the need to change or want to. Bad feelings are
then generated and words said that often cannot be taken back. Sheryl
believes that we mirror our own weaknesses and needs and expect
happiness to be given to us by others when in actuality happiness can
only be achieved by finding it within ourselves, and from our own
realization of our needs that lead us to achieving our goals.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” it becomes

clearer to each of us that finding peace and happiness, well being and a
productive life is based on moving past ego minded reality, fears and
limitations, and finding better ways to appreciate ourselves partners
friends and family. and to do this we need to constantly work on
understanding our emotions, triggers, traumas and wounds, so we can
begin to understand through communication new found ways to exhibit
patience acceptance and proactive behavior rather than reactive action.
This is the way to improve the quality of life.

Jonathan says that no matter the skill we go through four distinct

stages. In the first stage you are unaware of how much you don’t know.
In the second stage you understand there is a lot to learn In phase
three if you don’t give up you begin to use your new skills to create
the result you need. In stage four you achieve what is called
“unconscious competence.” You become a master communicator. That is the
    goal!

Jonathan also gives a quote in his book from a monk around the year of

    1100 and wrote,

“When I was a young man I wanted to change the world. I found it was

difficult to change the world so I decided to change my nation. When I
found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I
couldn’t change my town. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I
can change is myself and suddenly I realize that if, long ago, I had
changed myself, I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact
could have changed the nation, and I could indeed have changed the
    world.

Jonathan and I would hope that we all begin anew to love ourselves, as

we acknowledge that we are not perfect for no one or nothing is, but as
reflections of the Universal Source of Creation and as evolving souls
with increasing degrees of awareness, consciousness, we can guide
ourselves to greater love and greater compassion and we can learn to
communicate honestly with empathy and indeed move forward to a more
    joyful life.

  • A PHILOSOPHY THAT MAKES SENSE OF LIFE
In this episode of “Healing From Within”, your host Sheryl Glick author
of The Living Spirit Answers for Healing and Infinite Love, which shares
stories of spiritual awakening to intuition and to inner wisdom or truth
which sets up possibilities for creating a life of personal growth
prosperity and love. Sheryl is delighted to welcome Katherine Jegede
author of Infinite Possibility: How To Use The ideas of Neville Goddard
to Create The Life You Want. Katherine Jegede has searched for and found
ways to rethink and change old beliefs and offered her opportunities to
develop strength and fortitude, important qualities for being resilient
and for understanding life in its multidimensional aspects.

Katherine shares with us her unique and interesting background as a

British television presenter and author with a background in science.
She was first introduced to metaphysics as a teenager by her mother, a
former yoga teacher and educational specialist. Katherine developed a
penetrating and enduring fondness for the self-empowering teachings of
Neville Goddard, a philosopher and metaphysician, and she remains just
as steadfastly devoted to spreading his message today. Katherine moved
to Switzerland where she developed educational resources for rural
    communities in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Another important influence in Katherine’s spiritual development was her

relationship with her father. Her father was and still is a Freemason
and a deeply religious man who was brought up in the Jewish faith.
Katherine’s appetite for mysticism was encouraged by her father and she
was also fascinated by the menorah, the Hebrew language, the robes,
rituals of the temple, bags for the tallit, the tefillin and the books
    covered in gold lettering.

Imagination had always played a role in Katherine’s life. Somehow as a

child her instinct was: if you wanted something you had to focus on it
already being yours. Sheryl says that she has this feeling that wishing
and believing with your imagination is an important prerequisite for
manifesting what you desire into the physical world but it is not only
the focus of your thinking and desires but the persistence to be
consistent and work towards the goal, not just being but doing in equal
    measure.

Katherine’s mother, in pursuit of her own spiritual growth and hoping to

make sense of her husband’s great love of God, joined a church in order
to integrate and merge with community life but by the time Katherine
reached her teens she had decided that church was not for her. She found
it horribly restrictive. Endless rules and double standards were the
norm. Katherine was in search of a true connection to the universal laws
    of creation.

Sheryl says that most people, with an open heart and evolved soul life,

discover that religions while they mean to bring us closer to the divine
wisdom of the universe or God actually cause more separation because of
the many man- made interpretations of what they believe to be God’s
will. Katherine says, in response to her trying to understand her way or
path to God, the ideas her mother shared with her about Neville Goddard,
James Allen, Erich von Daniken, Norman Vincent Peale, Florence Scovel
Shinn, and other advocates of positive thinking and New Thought, were
wildly at odds with the traditional approach to religions that many
people practice. There were never answers that completely satisfied
Katherine. Sheryl, in a way similar to Katherine, also felt guided to
study philosophy, religion, mysticism, spiritualism, psychology in the
hopes of understanding who and what we are, and why we are alive in this
physical world that offers so many challenges.

Sheryl tells Katherine that a few years ago she was scheduled to

interview an author on the teachings of Neville Goddard but it didn’t
happen. As Sheryl knows all is going according to a Divine Unfolding of
Spirit’s plan for the evolution of humanity which includes our personal
journey to know ourselves and life in a clearer more accurate way.
Sheryl has conditioned herself to always allow and accept all events to
happen as they must, so Sheryl was delighted to be able to learn about
the teachings of Neville Goddard in today’s discussion with Katherine
because this must be the right time. Sheryl believes the mentors,
relationships, experiences and interests we find or discover by what
seems to be chance, we were really born to experience, not randomly but
for our soul or divine human journey. All events help us rediscover much
    about the nature of life.

Katherine goes on to tell us the core message of the book. Katherine

claims that Neville Goddard is the most radical mystical figures of the
last century, a prophet who popularized the astonishing concept that
your mind is God. She writes that “According to Neville there is only
one power in the universe out of which all things emanate. Not a good
source or a separate evil one, but one Universal source bending in
obedience to the creative will of men and women everywhere. Kate adds
that “The how remains a mystery: but this eternal fact is nevertheless
true. As soon as she was able to feel and accept this to be true she
    found herself free.”

Sheryl says, ”My journey has led me to find another such prophet Edgar

Cayce whose work I continue as a hands on healer and medium working with
Universal Energy and whose love of this Universal God or the laws of
energy allowed him to assist in so many healings of mind body and
spirit, for so many clients who came to him with fear and anguish
created by their perceptions of the physical world and their separation
from their true inner soul world of Spirit. Cayce and his clients found
it was only by helping themselves go within to their essence and
connection to the Oneness and the interconnectedness of Universal Source
that he helped them to be free and create better lives.

In Sheryl’s book The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite

Love she expresses this thought and wrote ”What I call The Law of
Attraction is a universal energetic truth of creating our own reality by
bringing to us the people and circumstances that our mind and actions
generate…..Therefore I propose that you shall receive what you offer to
others and what you wish for or ask for, continually from Spirit, and
you’ll receive what you expect in response to your perception of what is
important to your needs. Everything of both a positive or negative
nature is often reflected and given back to you by a universal force
that does not judge, but simply delvers. “Be careful what you wish for”
is an expression that holds enormous accuracy. Universal force only acts
on the vibration of our thoughts so we must carefully clarify our needs
and refine our thoughts before making requests or expending too much
    energy on an undesirable pursuit.”

Jegede tells us what inspired her to write her book Infinite

Possibilities and writes that this is neither a run of the mill modern
self-help book nor an attempt to make the world a better or, lovelier
place. Instead it puts into the hands of the reader the ability to make
life exactly what they want it to be by revealing the substance and
purpose of life. With this book the reader will be able to eliminate the
delusions, illusions of the ego based mind that keep human beings
powerless. It challenges our beliefs in the systems that are supposed to
keep us safe and give us purpose, and it then replaces these limiting
delusions with an infinitely creative authentic identity that is
    literally self-determining.

Jegede fell in love with Neville Goddard and his philosophy and she

almost instantly indescribably felt something inside of her stir and
began collecting his books and trusted him even when his words made no
earthly sense to me and she always retained an open mind. Then at age
twenty-six, disaster struck and Katherine was the victim of a horrible
crime. As she returned to her house in shock she pulled out the Bible in
her bag and the copy of The Power of Awareness by Neville. She was in
shock for as a devout follower of Neville’s she had come to believe that
her thoughts and her thoughts alone created everything in her life, and
yet, how had she just become a victim of crime.

Katherine wanted to reject Neville for his story about the discovery of

the human imagination as God was becoming her experience, even though
how could she have had such an awful event happen to her. And then
without realizing it she had undergone a spiritual transformation born
out of her pain and hopelessness, and had received irrefutable spiritual
validation of her inner change. The events of that assault actually was
necessary for her to release old patterns and enter a time for truly
knowing herself and accepting all would be well. She then went on to
studying Neville’s 1969 lecture The Secret of Causation in which he
details the ways in which imagination or perhaps fear creates reality
and provides an explanation of why we seem to be the victims of our
manifested ideas. Ultimately she wanted to know exactly how and why she
had gone through such hell. Katherine concluded that the circumstances
leading to my misfortune had a trace of origin—a preoccupation with a
particular fear that had indiscriminately drawn into my world the very
undesirable circumstances I had envisioned. According to Neville there
is only one power in the universe out of which all things emanate.

The teachings of Neville lead Katherine to find her imagination to be

God Her search for truth doesn’t lie within a particular theology but it
is a journey of self-exploration that is expansive organic and dynamic.
What Neville has done is to make real self-recovery from any trauma
possible It has also taught Katherine to live graciously and nobly.

In an endorsement by Mitch Horowitz author of Mind as Builder he says

why Katherine’s message is important and writes, In approaching these
ideas, remember: you are not required to join anything or quit anything:
change the outer labels of your life: rearrange personal relationships
or pay money or tributes to anyone. In using these techniques you are
working solely within the exquisitely private world of your mind. And in
so doing, you may discover that your mind is all the world.

Just as Goddard’s prophetic teachings inspired a very particular

response in his readers, this book will inspire that same powerful
emotion. What makes Infinite Possibility so valuable is we believe the
reader will emerge unafraid of the impermanence of life while
recognizing their specific role in the great drama of it. In Neville’s
own words, “ Stop trying to change the world since it is only the
mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as
breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and
change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of
    yourself.”

It might be wise to have a clear understanding of the term Metaphysics

and how it works. Perhaps a clearer understanding of the word
Metaphysics…Metaphysics is all the underlying theoretical principles of
creation. It is not merely concerned with the world you inhabit, but
with everything that exists: that which is seen and known to you and
that which is unseen and not known to you.

The three main ideas of Metaphysics:

Self-observation Before we undergo a psychological change we must become

aware of what needs to change. It is our state of consciousness that is
responsible for the circumstance of our lives, and once we are aware of
our reactions, we are in a position to change them.

Clarity of Thought (Definition of Aim) Knowing what you want—to be, do

or possess—is the crucial step on the path to the attainment of your
aims. The clearer the image, the easier it becomes to physicalize,
because your feelings towards it become stronger and the greater the
internal commitment to make it your preeminent thought.

Detachment Detachment is both a willingness and an ability to separate

oneself from the present state of consciousness in order to appropriate
another. Having clearly defined your aim, you must detach from your
present state of consciousness in order to take on the new consciousness
contained within your aim. While our reactions moods and thoughts feel
the most natural spontaneous thing in the world in reality we have
simply become accustomed to them through habit. We must therefore
practice detachment daily in order to break free.

Katherine goes on to discuss how this work makes a difference in the

real world, a world in which people face real challenges and discusses a
common problem for many p a families that of not having health care for
instance. She says that the suggestion that metaphysical law can be
effectively applied the moment someone picks it up may require
tremendous courage when it comes to implementing them. What metaphysics
can do and often quite immediately is offer an entirely new perspective
on the challenges we face. These perceptions can give you insight that
relive you of much of the burden of problems you are dealing with. So in
fact, the greater challenge is the ability to accept the claims of
metaphysics even before you have seen results. She can attest to the
fact that the laws work, but never asks others to take that at face
value until they make that discovery for themselves. So in the case of
health care for example, being clear about what the problem is, in this
work you are guided into accessing solutions that you may never have
thought possible for yourself. These solutions don’t float down from the
sky: they are tangible solutions and often people end up rationalizing
them, but in time, the individual discovers the relationship between the
operation of the imagination and their experiences.

Katherine gives an example of an event that unfolded most recently in

November 2017. Katherine was due to travel to New York to participate in
filming with Mitch Horowitz for his show on the New Thought Channel. At
the time she said YES and everything was confirmed even though she
didn’t have a penny to spare to fund the trip. But she put the Law of
Attraction to work and tried to see what she needed coming to her and
got into the mood of being in New York. A day or so later, my husband
and I were invited to a wedding where a guest at the wedding paid my
husband in advance, the commission for a land sale. That was the money I
needed to fund my trip. I was unconcerned about where the money would
come, from but certain it would happen in the best possible way. Sheryl
calls these little miracles that happen to all of us when we allow
accept and surrender to what is in our best interest and ASK Spirit for
help. If it is right for us it will happen and in ways that are often so
    unexpected.

Sheryl says, “As an intuitive energy practitioner and medium who

receives information to help people understand their challenges
strengths and weaknesses to bring awareness for solutions for greater
joy and well being into their lives Sheryl has help from observing the
Universal Laws which Sheryl calls miracles that are happening to all of
us. Only the other day she was thinking when is the publisher for my new
book New Life Awaits going to surface. Maybe I could use a reading with
some information about the way it will happen. As I do readings for
others but for myself it is a bit more challenging. So Sheryl was at a
shopping center and sat down to rest for a moment. Immediately a woman
sat down and we began to talk. Sheryl told her how often she was guided
to talk to people who either had a message for her or she for them.
Sheryl heard a slight accent in the woman’s speech and asked where she
was from. She responded she was from Greece. Sheryl told her she was
aware of a past life in Greece and had many coincidences leading her to
visit Greece and validate those feelings years ago. Sheryl also said she
felt highly connected to ancient Egyptian life which lead her to tell
the woman of a dream of Isis Osiris and Horus, the Egyptian Gods or
Leaders that she had many years ago and never forgot. Then the woman
pulled out her Egyptian cards and said this was a rare package of cards
no longer available to the public, and she gave Sheryl a reading with
those cards, which suggested that the book Sheryl was hoping to complete
would be published, successful, reach a lot of people and that she
should be patient and allow those in Spirit to help. Sheryl sensed this
to be true and trusted the Universal Plan, but, how lovely it was to see
the beautiful cards that reflected the way things would be before too
long. Sheryl considered this pleasant meeting and reading with the woman
a special birthday gift and miracle, as it happened the day before her
birthday. A gift from the connected alignment to Source or the God Mind
as Neville Goddard describes. These miracles and coincidences or
messages from Spirit go on all the time. The more you allow and accept
    it, the more it happens.

I think Katherine hopes that readers remember that Neville teaches that

as we change, the world around us being purely imaged changes to reflect
our psychological state. In his 1948 lecture series titled Five Lessons
Neville goes into great detail about the importance of addressing our
own consciousness when we want to change the circumstances of our lives
overall. These lectures are perhaps his most instructively practical.
The world becomes paradisiacal as we achieve paradise inwardly, but it
is just as capable of being a place of torment when we fail to use our
imagination constructively. Does this mean that mental causation is
solely responsible for our experience and if so what about the other
forces of nature at play. Well if we are capable of believing in the
sovereignty of imagination(God himself) and that creation in its
entirety exists in the mind, then we can quite possibly also accept that
the world around us is our mental activity… but if not, continue to hold
others around you accountable for what they do to you and believe in a
physical world of unalterable fact, acting upon a plethora of universal
invisible laws: this is true and there is nothing wrong with that. Just
be willing to allow experience to teach you what the truth actually is,
that all things are subject to imagination. Faith follows results.

Sheryl says…this is an important message to get out there now in this

challenging politically charged times where people think they can
achieve what they want by obstruction resistance and accusations In
actuality as you and I and Neville knew positive thought action and
changing negativity in our own thinking is the first step towards
    creating a new reality.

Katherine Jegede would you like readers to take away with them after

reading Infinite Possibility the fact that creation is infinite and
there are no limits to the ways in which we can express ourselves. Human
beings are merely unaware that they are asleep awaiting resurrection.
Even the vilest emanations from the most despicable human beings, which
are also forms of expression cannot be separated from God. Man as God
can and will be redeemed which means that we can forgive anyone for the
things they do: is the same God that operates in all of us. There is
only man and consciousness which must pass through the furnaces of life
together for purification: for a rebirth, and only we can save
ourselves. We are it seems here for one purpose and one purpose only and
that is to fulfill God’s plan for man, beginning with the crucifixion
and ending with resurrection. The fact is Christ is not a man. The one
talked about in the Bible who takes our infirmities and bears our
diseases is your own human imagination which is God himself……Christ as
we have established is God or consciousness, while the cross represents
    man (human beings)

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” I give you a

quote from Neville Goddard, That which you do not claim is true of
yourself cannot be realized by you. No truer words can express the fact
that self-love, acceptance of all events without fear and judgment, are
the only way to manifest and create your dreams or goals. You may
discover your reason for being alive is simply to remember that you are
more than your physical body or reality, and that life is as eternal and
infinite as are our thoughts powerful, and our actions filled with
energy which can never be destroyed only transformed transmuted or
transcended. So in other words: life for each of us becomes what we
perceive it to be. If we perceive beauty, love goodness, health and
success, we may enjoy that reality. If we have fearful thoughts and
cannot minimize or refine our limitations to new perceptions and dreams,
we will live in the shadow of our wondrous possibilities for greater
love and joy. We are what we think and must begin to think in a more
appropriate way to create our best version of ourselves and life.

In regard to these thoughts Katherine wrote, “When you look in the

mirror, if you are dissatisfied with the image reflected back, don’t
accept it, change it. If you look in the mirror and are unhappy with
what you see reflected there, you walk away and do nothing and you are
sure to be confronted with the same thing later. Whether you realize it
or not the face you see in the mirror is the mask of God. You may find
this hard to believe since you can only see the mortal and not the
immortal. But the being unseen by human eyes is the one doing this work.
Have confidence in the fact that there is much more to you than you know
and as such the true scope of your capabilities is far in excess of what
you presently believe it to be.”

Katherine and I would have you know as she wrote, “We all place far too

much emphasis on the conditions of life as the cause of our emotional
state. It is our emotional state that is responsible for the conditions
of our lives. What we think put attention on and consistency pray or
hope for has every chance to manifest in our lives.

  • WISDOM AND TRUTH FROM WITHIN
Hello and welcome to “Healing From Within” I am your host Sheryl Glick
author of The Living Spirit: Answers for Healing and Infinite Love which
shares stories of spiritual awakening communication healing energies
miracles and ways to utilize your intuition for prosperity health and
happiness and today we welcome Patricia Hammond –Gonzalez author of The
Ultimate Experience a personal non-fictional tale applying spiritual
concepts from A Course in Miracles and practical experience, that await
students who dare to walk a path of forgiveness acceptance and a
surrender to the Universal Plan for our enlightenment and personal
    development.

As listeners of “Healing From Within” are well aware Sheryl and her

guests share intimate stories of awakening and recognizing spiritual
talents, responsibilities and higher consciousness as we connect our
physical and spiritual essence into the Oneness of Being while living
with a full understanding of the Universal Laws of Energy which when
followed, allow us to experience a more productive purposeful joyful and
    a meaningful life journey.

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” Patricia Hammond-Gonzalez

born in Spirit Lake, Idaho the third of four daughters, has lived in
London and Spain and offers her thoughts on what it means to be a
spiritual traveler who excels in living life with gusto and faith. She
shows us how “A Course in Miracles” contributed to expanding her mind
heart and soul to the higher realms of Universal Energy and brought
purpose and meaning as well as a clearer view of how to merge physical
and spiritual life tenants for achieving our greatest potential.

When Patricia is asked to think back to her childhood and remember an

event person or place that may have been meaningful to her she shares
that she often couldn’t understand why she was born to a mother and
family so different from her and how she always felt like a square peg
that couldn’t fit into the round hole. She relays how an English teacher
marked her composition with an A at the bottom and how wonderful she
felt to have someone recognize a talent or uniqueness to her thinking
and how wonderful it felt to simply enjoying what she had shared and
    being appreciated for her truth.

Patricia shares with us how she found it hard to reconcile her corporate

work with her interest in spiritual matters and when she was called into
the office and released from working there she actually felt relieved
and excited to step into the next part of her life journey. She returned
to Florida to live with her mother and her sisters were all in the
vicinity and as she worked with the book A Course In Miracles from every
page the words “Forgive” kept jumping out of the page to awaken her to
forgiving her mother and family for her challenging childhood
experiences and as she moved forward to freedom and liberation from the
past her new life was calling her. She received a call from her friend
Lauren and decided to go to London and France and to simply have an
adventure. The idea to write this book

Though the book is partially non-fiction it is also a self-help book.

Sheryl says that Patricia’s illustrations for understanding the chakra
healing energy vortexes and the way a baby is born and receives guidance
and help from Universal energy before downloading patterns of ego or
negative mind thinking from parents teachers peers and societal patterns
offer ways to rewire our thoughts which ultimately create new patterns
and realities that enhance our life style health relationships and our
simple joy in being so in that regard the book shares ways to work
towards creativity healing and positivity increasing our human and
divine potential for a healthy life journey.

Some of the ideas in A Course in Miracles are simple but so powerful and

true that they can help to let go of the past way of thinking as victims
and emerge as powerful healthy survivors and creators of many new
possibilities. Patricia writes, ”In the beginning the teacher is clear,
but there are no designated roles assigned: all just students sharing a
speck of time together, walking a linear path in the direction of The
Ultimate Experience. Undoing the ego is the idea. Yes, that’s right, the
ego (illusion): mentally unstable deviant, knife-wielding murderer
attacking and slashing the throat in a desperate attempt to cut off the
ability to make another choice. (Truth) An experience is a spontaneous
glimpse of Heaven. It’s beyond belief and beyond description: It’s the
Magic of Dorothy’s Emerald City, it’s the Majestic view from the
top-of-world on Mount Everest , it’s the Miracle of a newborn baby. It
is Ecstasy, Wonder and Awe. It’s the ride of a lifetime. The process is
not a rolling out of new ideas but instead an unwinding of old
perceptions and beliefs defining each of our worlds. This is a path
where the Mind rules, the body is an illusion, and the physical world is
a dream. What? This cannot be true. Oh, yes, it is.

Patricia shares with us some of the teachers or people along the way who

have helped her develop her own teaching gifts and broadened her
awareness of the Unseen World and perhaps the multi-dimensional state of
our lives. One of her teachers is her mirror image friend Lauren whose
life shares much synchronicity with Savannah Patricia’s name in her
book, tells of their trip to Paris and embarking on a long study of A
Course In Miracles together. It is not enough to read the words and
praise the message…Patricia had to apply the words and messages to my
daily life. She did and for the next two years the silent practice of
forgiveness was a constant in my day. She was truly committed to undoing
the distorted beliefs and perceptual errors defining her egoist life and
allowing her to finally experience the Love of Light of God.

Savannah wrote as they embarked on their journey, “As spiritual

travelers, we will without hesitation respect love and honor all that we
meet along the road. As we put one foot in front of the other we know
the Truth. There is nothing outside our mind. We welcome opportunities
to forgive our ego/wrong mind thoughts and experience the shift to
God/right mind. As friends and spiritual partners, we vow to remain
calm, peaceful, and lovingly share a smile or an encouraging word when
needed. And lastly, never forgetting the Holy Spirit is our guide, our
    GPS.”

Patricia lets us know that Joey the young man in the story was a

fictional character who struggled with addiction and a very unhappy
    young damaged life.

She writes, “In Paris they met Joey who has been living on the street

and doing drugs but Savannah senses if he could detox and join them on
their journey they would all benefit from the friendship. He agrees to
go into rehab immediately and catch up with them in a few weeks. He
realizes it is time for a new beginning and leaving the past behind.

In Paris Savanah had an experience and were almost mugged, “You write, “

Walking down the street toward the café…a a belief in a world where
getting mugged is a reality and where things aren’t perfect…like me. I’m
not perfect. It was that world and all its imperfections like my mugger,
Fabron, that showed up for me last night.

I hear my words and I am upset that I forgot the most important lesson.

“Walking down the sidewalk as God/right mind, connected to the
perfection within, would have created a different world, a different
projection. As a victim in that moment I was forced to backtrack and
forgive my ego/wrong mind thoughts and ask the Holy Spirit for help.”

Patricia goes on to mention how when looking for an inexpensive hotel

you magically or so you thought, find the perfect place…stylish and very
comfortable and safe. Was it magic, a small miracle or your intention
being realized, as indeed our thoughts and actions are very powerful and
all our thoughts eventually materialize, whether good or bad, into the
    physical world.

Sheryl says, “Perhaps it wasn’t magic, but simply being aligned to

Spirit so you manifested what you wished for and needed as is only
possible when you know who you are as spiritual beings having a physical
life and ask for what you need and then find it. I have many examples
where this happens. Just the other day I was in the store and thinking I
needed a pair of high boots but usually they are too narrow for my leg
and I can’t get the zipper up. I know one store will have them but they
will be very expensive and plan to go there over the weekend. Then when
I walk into my usual TJ Maxx store and since it’s still summertime, so
not many fall shoes or boots have come in yet, there on the top shelf is
a beautiful pair of leather boots with a slightly athletic wider leg and
in my size. They fit great and are reasonably priced. I thank God for
his generosity and miracle…maybe not an earth shattering miracle, but a
blessing and message that they hear me, and wish to give me what is fair
and reasonable, because I am loved and I hope appreciated for my efforts
to use spiritual gifts and serve in any way possible. Patricia you on to
mention how you have helpful people and make friends as you continue
your journey in France and conquer your negative thoughts whenever in
doubt or danger to create God/right thinking that brings positive
    results.

You go on to share more of Joey’s story of being homeless on the streets

of Paris and being stabbed raped and almost dying and he tells you,” Now
I know secrets aren’t meant to stay hidden. Secrets are stubborn and
persistent: they demand to be free forgiven and let go. You tell Joey
that we begin to observe the ego/wrong mind thoughts of shame and anger
that exist when any trauma happens: forgive and forgive some more until
the nightmare evaporates into thin air. Somewhere in the unconscious
there’s an underlying perception or belief that will need forgiving.
That goes for each of us.”

Sheryl says that it often appears during the process of unveiling our

emotions and the truth of situations that pertain to any challenge loss
or fear that allows a sense of lost power shame or anger within us, or
towards others, that we think we are to blame and could have done more
to prevent our pain and unhappiness. That misguided guilt will unfold in
time, hopefully before it leads us to addictions like drugs alcohol
depression to cover the real pain. It really doesn’t matter what
happened or how it happened. What matters is how we come to move past
it, and regain our soul and spirit energy with love forgiveness and
greater courage as survivors not victims. That is the truth of
forgiveness for Self and others…a freedom and liberation from self-doubt
pain judgment blame anger and dysfunction.

While you are in London with your new friend Joey who you wish to teach

what you have learned over the last two years you begin with Section 1
    Understanding.

You share with Joey that one cannot find awareness through intellectual

mastery of any material. I cannot give you the experience of God/right
mind: that is found through application. No one can tell you when you
will experience God’s presence for the first time, but if you follow
this process it will happen. The process is not about believing what
anyone says to be true, but you must get down and dirty with your
unconscious guilt: your ego/wrong mind thoughts. Galileo’s quote, “You
cannot teach a man anything: you can only help him find it within
himself. Galileo’s quote says a lot about intellectual knowing vs.
    experience.

In the next lesson you show ego/wrong mind and God/right mind by saying

to remember there is nothing outside of our mind!

Sheryl shares with Patricia a story from when she was at a conference in

Phoenix Arizona and saw a sign over a church entrance that read, “ Enter
at Your own Risk.” Sheryl was amused as she immediately saw the accuracy
of that statement which to her meant that once you know who you are as a
spiritual being having a physical life, everything changes. You can no
longer allow blame, anger, judgment, to cloud the truth of your
spiritual soul being and must develop your own inner awareness by living
lovingly and compassionately. In other words, once God or Spirit or
Universal Divine Energy whatever you call it, becomes real and you are
aware of more than your own ego needs or physical world, you must be
ready to take on responsibility to achieve a sense of personal power and
movement towards Higher Conscious and self-awareness.

In my book “The Living Spirit” In terms of achieving spiritual

transformation I wrote,” Spiritual Transformation is the key to
manifesting a better physical experience, period. It is also necessary
to attain life achievements that are not only materially advantageous
but a real reflection of your true Divine Self. Coincidentally,
spiritual transformation also allows us to find our higher selves and a
connection to universal energy. The ultimate purpose for seeking
transformation is to be free of the negative or fearful mind-chatter
that results from thoughts of imaginary obstacles and the voices of
controlling relatives, friends, and business acquaintances who may be
enmeshed in physical pursuits related to the accumulation of material
possessions and the survival needs of the root chakra. By seeking deeper
knowledge of your soul, your heart energy, and your life’s purpose you
automatically begin to remember that you are more than your body: more
than the physical world: you are part of a higher life force that is
    eternal and divine.

Patricia goes on to tell us something about what the ego/wrong mind

focuses on or fuels itself with/ and also what the God/right mind
    focuses on.

There is no middle position…you are either in ego/wrong mind or you are

    in God/right mind?

The ego/wrong mind seeks to enhance itself by approval, possessions and

conditional love. It is deaf, dumb and blind to the signs from God.

The God/right mind needs nothing. It is complete loved and loving. It

naturally shares rather than seeks to get, accepts rather than projects.
It sees God in everything. It listens for the Holy Spirit. It speaks
with knowing and unconditional love. And here is the real clincher: Only
    God/right mind is real.

Nothing Real Can Be Threatened: Nothing Unreal Exists (A Course In

    Miracles)

The next stage of learning surrender is about finally giving up because

you’ve realized your way isn’t working. Stage 2 is Surrender—Asking for
    help.

The world would say these happenings and encounters were random or

happenstance a chance occurrence but that is not correct. Your world is
a precise reflection in a mirror and never ever happenstance. Your world
is exactly as you think it to be so your world reflects back to you your
thoughts actions and what you invest your enery or time into. Your world
and the people in it are a reflection of what you most put your thoughts
    on.

Here’s the truth from A Course in Miracles, “ You are in a dream which

makes you the dreamer. All the time whether you are asleep or awake is
spent dreaming. None of it is really happening. This process isn’t about
changing your world or your dream and making it more acceptable to you
and everyone else. No you need to wake up from the dream. “You’re only a
renter in your world. Your permanent home is with God. There is nothing
    outside of our mind.”

In the book when you are showing Joey that the difference between

writing creatively or allowing a block can impede you and there are ways
to remove these blockages and distractions. Beginning a meditation
practice and becoming aware of the help received from Spirit and flowing
in the connection of alignment to Universal energy changes your
attitudes perceptions allowing for greater health prosperity love and
peace. Patricia shares a chakra meditation.

There are seven energy centers on the body called chakras. Each chakra

is a spiral of energy and each has a corresponding color. Begin with the
first root chakra ..breathe in the color red through your nose and down
your body. Next swirl the color red in a clockwise direction which is at
the base of your spine. Then go to the next chakra the sacral and then
the solar- plexis throat third eye and crown spinning open the wheels of
light, and helping you to surrender to the peace and connection to
source. In this state of relaxation your body can rest rebalance and
restore you to peace and calm. We can let go of negative impulses and
connect once again to the God/right mind. Sheryl and Patricia as Reiki
energy healers suggest you look into beginning a meditation practice and
perhaps finding a spiritual teacher to facilitate a greater way to
    utilize energy for healing.

Patricia Hammond Gonzalez would like readers to gain a greater love of

“Forgiveness” as a main tenant for developing their true potential to
evolve as loving compassionate spiritual beings enjoying a physical life
adventure. As an infant you began with the fullness of God shining
brightly from within. Close your eyes and visualize baby as a shiny new
computer receiving guidance and information from the Universe. As the
years go by programs are installed by your parents teachers and peers
until your hard drive is full. Once the hard drive is full they keep
playing over and over again. You may have a program called ”Unworthy”
and hard as you try to change that program it will continue to control
your life. You might start a new relationship, a new business venture,
move to a new location thinking you will find something new. But you
cannot get new when an old program is running.

This process is about undoing the ego/wrong mind or old programs.

Through forgiveness, layer by layer the ego/wrong mind disappears and
the light of God begins to reappear. When you commit to allowing these
changes you become an “Observer” and begin to see your world in terms of
what part of your mind you are engaging the right mind or wrong mind.
There are choices to be made from reflection of this awareness.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” Patricia has

shared with us in an enjoyable light hearted fashion several of the very
complex ideas in z’A Course In Miracles,” a study of Universal Laws for
living life in a way that supports soul and human growth as we move
towards greater love, compassion, healing and a true connection to the
Divine We have shared her journey with her friends through many lovely
countries and situations, some challenging and others amazingly
uplifting, as we remember that life is indeed a procession of people
events and changes that eventually guide us towards Truth Acceptance and
a Surrender to our personal individualized life plan. In understanding
the difference between the ego/wrong mind and the God/right mind
thinking we begin to see that our thoughts and actions mirror all the
events in our life and we can begin to create a very different reality
by simply using our inner wisdom and alignment to Higher Self.

As Patricia wrote, “You do not have to learn love, earn love or attain

love because love is always within you. If you’re not aware of love and
protecting love, you must still have some forgiveness to do. A word of
caution…the ego is stubborn tenacious, and once it’s identified by you
the “Observer” it gets terrified. Don’t be surprised when you see those
same ego/wrong thoughts popping us again and again. Just like those
frustrating pop-ups on your computer, they keep repeating until you
decide to get rid of them.”

Patricia and I would have you as she also wrote, “When you peel away the

layers of ego/wrong mind through this process of forgiveness, what’s
real and true is revealed: the impossible becomes possible.

  • LIVING/THRIVING IN THE AGE OF SURPRISE

In this episode of “Healing From Within” host Sheryl Glick author of The

Living Spirit which shares stories of spiritual awakening spiritual
communication healing energies miracles and keys to your own soul
transformation is delighted to welcome Deirdre Hade author of The (not
so) Little Book of Surprises known as the Mystic of Montecito who will
share much-needed awareness and tools for weathering the storms of this
    Age of Surprise.

As listeners of “Healing From Within” have come to know Sheryl and her

guests share intimate stories and insights into the multidimensional
aspects of Being as a way to live well in a three dimensional physical
world as spiritual beings and also to develop a clearer understanding of
duality as it affects our changing perceptions of Self and the Universe.
In essence we come to know there is no duality: no right or wrong, good
or bad, just experience and the constant realignment to Universal Energy
or Creation which is constant loving and gracious when we allow it to
    be.

In today’s episode of “Healing From Within” Deirdre Hade shares her

feeling that we are now at the greatest Doorway that Humanity has ever
entered and where the unexpected has now become expected more often than
not. Where does that leave each of us, our communities and world? We
explore the storms physically and emotionally that have come to Texas
Florida Puerto Rico and so on and the fires in California which burned
literally right up to the hedges of Deirdre’s home in the hills of
Montecito. Why is America and the world experiencing such rapid and
traumatic physical political and societal upheavals? Can we not only
survive but benefit from the changes and reach a higher state of
consciousness and love for living? Let us explore tools to navigate
these events and coming challenges with resilience and trust in a bigger
plan to all that is happening.

Deirdre answers Sheryl’s question about influences from childhood that

might have led her to the work and lifestyle she was leading now and
Deirdre shared that she was always aware of Spiritual beings around her
and interested in helping people see the beauty and magic of life as a
medium or mystic between worlds. As Deirdre fast forwards she describes
how a chance meeting when she was seventeen years old with Joseph
Campbell an American mythologist visionary and author of “Hero with a
Thousand Faces” answered the question she posed to him at that time. She
asked him whether she should be a dancer or archeologist? After Deirdre
had suggested to Mr. Campbell that he was wrong in one of his points
discussed during the lecture as an intuitive and bearer of messages from
Spirit really knows no other way to be than honest and forthright, Mr.
Campbell told her to be a dancer as archeologists search for the origin
of our being and she already knew who we are. Sheryl is amused by this
story as an intuitive and healer she is much the same way and seeks to
share her love of life and Spirit honestly and sometimes firmly with
those who are hurting themselves or others. Intuitive or sensitive
people cannot back down to injustice when they feel and know something
    is off.

Deirdre tells us about the non-profit organization the Foundation for

Radiance which has worked closely with the Prison Association of New
York and Nuevo Amanacer for women rescued from abuse and sexual slavery
in East Los Angeles. She tells us that sometimes she needs to be quiet
and not share all in an environment where people may not be ready to
make the changes that are necessary. Sheryl shares that as a hospice
volunteer for eight years she was expected to listen in silence, but as
is her nature, in conversation her awareness of life existing beyond
this physical life always managed to surface and help those near to
dying and transitioning to feel at peace.

Deirdre describes herself as a mystical visionary and suggests that

those people who are guided to read her book may find ways to open the
doors to other realms of consciousness and see life in an expanded
changing evolving way recreating itself over and over again. A mystic is
a person who seeks by contemplation and self-surrender to obtain unity
with or absorption into The Deity or Universal Creative Energetic force
of life or the Absolute or who believes in the spiritual apprehension of
truths that are beyond the intellect.

Sheryl says with Deirdre that in earlier experiences as a student she

searched for truth and studied philosophy history religion science then
came spirituality and dream awareness as a possible way to know oneself
beyond belief systems and societal training and that led her to question
the beliefs and training of childhood so she could reclaim her spiritual
gifts of feeling and knowing Spirit experientially and use her intuitive
ability there with her from early childhood, to communicate with Spirit
and loved ones. As a result she helps herself and others to find a
clearer view of who we are, what life is and how it is intended to share
with our soul so we rediscover “home” within ourselves and are never
alone separate from the Infinite source of eternal life and creation.

In her book The Living Spirit Sheryl wrote, “In continuing our quest for

personal truth along with our goal to hear the whispers, experience
beautiful thoughts, and sense the feelings of peace that may reside in
our soul and body, a pleasant feeling of cooperation between body, mind,
and soul can be achieved to bring about a future reality of substance.

As you are able to quiet your mind and let go of needless chatter and

self-doubt, you will eventually begin to sense your Higher Self that
part of you that is unconcerned with the minutia of everyday life. You
will begin to know yourself experientially rather than intellectually.
Eventually the quieting of the mind will allow you to receive
    information from other dimensions.”

Deidre has a poem in the book that reads “We are here as mystics. If you

are here you are a mystic…You were born a mystic and you will die a
mystic. And there’s no way you’re going to get out of it.” Sheryl
laughed at the truth of this statement for we are all embued with a
sense of intuition and knowing, beloved by the Universal Source and
capable of manifesting our truest dreams and goals. All we need do is
spend time meditating being in nature and in the silence of being free
from our ego directed fearful mind that slows the process of remembering
that we are souls having a physical life not the other way around.

Sheryl shares with Deirdre a mystical experience she has every time she

does a reading for a person and merges her higher energy with higher
guidance and love from spiritual teachers, angels, loved ones and higher
vibrational beings. But when she took her second Reiki training class
during the attunement process that is part of Reiki energy healing
training she was in a deep state of relaxation and felt and saw herself
being held in Jesus’ hands and lifted up. Another time at a spiritual
event in California during a group meditation Sheryl felt herself out of
her body her soul energy swimming rapidly towards an island with immense
glass and gold topped buildings and light. Sheryl couldn’t understand
how she was swimming underwater without any type of breathing apparatus.
When she talked to the person sitting next to her and relayed the
experience he told her that in Mexico at an ancient site he had the same
out of body experience and knew the place we saw was the ancient city of
    Atlantis.

At another workshop years ago in deep meditation Sheryl found herself as

a single speck or atom in an empty dark place or universe. It was still
me and I had my awareness of all I was in thought but not body…It
reminded Sheryl of the page Deirdre has in her book The not so Little
Book of Surprises where there is a purple square and four circles of
color in the Universe that says that every point of light, every star is
an aperture into the throne of God, the pure realms of heaven. Each
opening each aperture, is a “Shining One” holding the gates of reality
open so you remember where you came from and what you are here to do and
these apertures of light you call stars. ( See the stars not as round
spheres but as open doorways…Beyond is the world of pure light it
    seems.)

The real nature of our physical life is changing in the Age of Surprise.

Deirdre writes, “Surprises run the gamut from life-threatening
earthquakes to ecstatic gifts. From the phone call informing of a tragic
car wreck to your favorite comedian’s rip–roaring punch line. Although
varied in the extreme, all these have something or things in common. The
“you” before it is different from the “you” afterward and that
difference is profound. Your body literally changes. The chemical makeup
of your emotional hormones or peptides has completely shifted. An eighty
year old grandmother can suddenly pick up the car that has fallen on her
favorite grandchild. Your psychological state changes. The depression
you’ve been living in for twenty years evaporates in an instant when
those lottery numbers match up. Even your perception of physical reality
changes. Suddenly everything is brighter after that very first kiss from
    your heartthrob.”

We are living at a choice point. One of the rare times in the

incarnation of the human where you choose what the next million years
are going to look like and your generation and the generation of the
next twenty years. You are the generation that has been given the duty
to choose. It seems many of the children being born and the Millennials
have a sense of their spiritual needs and values and are here to help
move humanity to a higher state of awareness and consciousness We are in
a new age of Intuition moving past information that is perhaps no longer
relevant and feelings that are more cooperative compassionate and
universal beyond race religion gender political agendas and beyond
purely ego-based judgmental practices. It is a time a revolution, an
evolution for the soul. Transformation is the name of the game in
spiritual practice. Meditation mindfulness prayer vision quests seeing
The Master—all the techniques of the path are about changing who you
    are.

Sheryl would say: “It is about becoming more aware of all that you are

and the essence of your inner soul knowingness that is often limited by
the requirements of living in a physical reality. It might not be about
changing who you are but becoming more aware of what you already are: a
    magnificent eternal soul energy.”

Of Course not all surprises take the surprises to a more

aware-enlightened state. While finding a frog in your knapsack may
produce a chuckle, finding a cobra would not.. Although both would
change you, it’s best to have the person monk eying with your destiny
lines to be someone who is wise.

Deirdre and her husband William Arntz co-authors of the book The not so

Little Book of Surprises are the founders of the Radiance Journey. Your
pure Radiance Pure Energy Program for energetic clearing and healing has
been sold in over 132 countries. Recently married you and your husband
William Arntz have created the Mystic and the Physicist: An Exploration
into the Vanishing Point Where Science and Spirituality Meet. Deidre’s
inner spiritual gifts and search for self discovery brought her under
the mentorship of elders and teachers in the mystical Chrisitian
tradition, the “I Am Presence” teachings, the Hindu Vedic tradition and
Mussar and Lurianic Kabballah which she studied for over twenty years
under the tutelage of two esteemed Rabbis in Los Angeles. In 2004
Deirdre founded Radiance Healing and Meditation now simply called The
Radiance Journey. Her system of energy healing and mystical wisdom now
including ancient knowledge of the Kabbalah: Tree of Life.

Deidre shares a page from their book:

The outer world is a holographic picture of your mind.

You are separate from every other mind,
while you are a unique ray of light.
This is the paradox—while you are separate from every other mind,
you are at the same time one with every mind, every other thing in the
    Universe.
Your ray is so important and so needed on the planet right now.
It is not possible to have a ray that is not needed.

Sheryl remembers as she hears that statement that only the other day she

was remembering a healer Carol, a polarity healer she met in Maine
summers ago. and then read your poem…..

    While

    at the same time that
    you are separate and
    you are different and
    you are unique,
    you are one and the
    same with all creation

Carol said to me at that time. Do you know who your guide is? and Sheryl

responded that she had an idea but never wanted to seem pompous or be
seen as contentious so she kept silent. Then Carol said “He wants you to
put it in your book The Living Spirit.” Then Carol said….I am so glad
you are in the world right now. I think that we are living in wondrous
times a time of surprise and change for a Universe that is expanding
    with greater hope and love.

Deirdre’s husband William Arntz, the creator, and producer of the film

What the Bleep do We Know? and award-winning photographer Endre Balogh
have created a book of mystery with many openings to the doorways of
soul life and the Universe and when held or simply opened to any page
may give readers answers to their most intimate questions. The (not so)
Little Book of Surprises is a gift from very talented and loving souls
who express the truth of our Being in clear beautiful engaging ways.
Deidre Hade has shared an insightful look at how to view this
challenging changing world through the eyes of Surprise Acceptance and
Love for life and being just as it is and needs to be so more people can
find ways to know ourselves and create the world Anew in loving
compassionate energy feelings thoughts and actions.

In summarizing today’s episode of “Healing From Within” we have explored

the mystic within us all that longs for the beauty of a connection to
Universal energy and guidance from Higher Source and to find faith peace
love and unity within our heart that may also beat within the continuous
energetic oneness of life and creation.

As written in Deidre and William’s book we read and at the same time see

the pictures of Universal Light Beings ….The old paradigms are falling
apart and people are grappling to try to find a way to pull them
together. Somebody has to be the glue to hold the space for the love of
the beings of Light : the Pistis Sophia, The Archangels of Light, the
Ascended Master—to come and help us redeem our world.

Because we cannot do this alone. We cannot.

Our Creator, the Archangels and Ascended Masters are praying that you

begin to see beyond the veils of this world, because when you can truly
see, you will receive the access code, your key to enter into the
    alternative reality of Oneness.

When looking through the book to find a passage to end this show I

picked the picture and the message shared above purposefully. I often
have coincidences or synchronicity through divine intervention with my
very gifted authors and leaders in these transformational and expansive
times we live in. Only a few weeks ago Sheryl attended a family wedding
and her cousin who had recently lost her husband asked her if she
thought he and other family members were around us in some way. Of
course Sheryl expressed her confidence that they were all there to share
this happy event with us. Sheryl closed her eyes and asked for a sign or
message. Then the cousins and Sheryl took a cell phone picture and
immediately saw in the upper right hand corner, in a window the exact
angelic light form that is in the drawing in Deirdre and William’s book.
That picture may be seen on Sheryl’s website www.sherylglick.com on the
    Event link.

Spirit and the universal presence of life are there when we ask or

simply believe with faith that is beyond thought and mind, and just
allow accept and surrender to the truth and wonder of our Being.

Deidre and I want to thank all our listeners for being open to accessing

the wisdom love and truth of our eternal essence and as we do we will
see more and more participation by those in Spirit who join us on our
journey of Life here in the physical world of nature, and beyond in the
world of Light. Deidre Hade link to www.deidrehade.com The (not so)
