You know those people who light up every room, from the moment you meet them you are drawn to their energy, warmth and charisma. Well, that’s exactly how I felt about today's guest, Rhiannon Tracey.

We were connected by a mutual friend, Amarra and as soon as I heard about Rhiannon’s inspiring story I knew I had to get her on the show to share her light with you.

In 2009 just a few months from turning 21 Rhiannon dived into a pool in Bali and in that moment her life changed forever. Suffering a spinal cord injury, Rhiannon was diagnosed as a C5 Quadriplegic and given little hope to ever walk again. And then, things got worse, Rhiannon’s emergency surgery was delayed by 9 hours due to a horrific earthquake, deserted in a Balinese hospital only moments from death Rhiannon, then two nurses were flown in from Australia under her travel insurance, and they treated her for the huge amounts of water that were in her lungs. Finally, two weeks after, she was flown to an Australian hospital and underwent two more life-saving surgeries.

Today Rhiannon is a motivational speaker, model, resilience and wellness coach and the founder of Next Step Spinal Recovery. In 2012 Rhiannon was awarded the Young Australian of the year award and in 2016 Cosmopolitan named her the Game Changer Woman of the year - an outstanding role model and a true inspiration.
