The question that came to me in my restorative yoga class I was teaching - when was the last time you said I love you to yourself? Some of the fears of experiencing of greatness are being seen, the hate/ bullying/ criticism you’ll revive from others, physical safety/ stalking, being held accountable for being a good person, having power you’ll become evil/ is a negative thing, childhood traumas, needing to have strong boundaries, scarring to think we’re worthy of this success, fear of change + having to outgrow things. Some ways these fears manifest are procrastination, lowballing yourself, never finishing a project, perfectionism, self-sabotage, not asking for help or putting yourself in environments that you don’t thrive in. It’s an episode that goes deep into the layers of complexities of the subconscious mind that’s often running our lives!

Arianna is a human design reader from the pacific northwest. She found that human design captures people's essence, soft skills, and inner strengths. It's the science of differentiation, a framework in which you can understand yourself. There are four main (+ one sub) energy types: manifesters, generators, manifesting generators, projectors, and reflectors. She then goes over the strategies of each energy types and it's how you flow with life in the most easeful way + then there are not self themes that helps you identify if you're following your truth. Human design allows you to understand yourself + everyone around you. The inner authorities are how you make the best decision for yourself and no ones authority is their mind. Most of the population is an emotional authority which means wait for your emotions and feel them before you make a decision. Sacral is listening to your gut and asking yes or no questions. There are 64 gates and each one has a sub definition -- so theres so many different combinations, it's def recommend to get your chart read. The sun personality gate is what is your life force. It’s okay to be where you’re at right now. I went to yoga today & couldn’t relax and it made me so frustrated. How uncomfortable it is to sit with your shadows/ uncomfortable emotions/ mean parts of yourself. How we can let go of being happy/ perfectionist + just be where we’re at. Ryan is a yoga studio owner and teacher. He's always lived a life where he's spent time with people that have inspired him. He was a professional runner for a long time + got injured by breaking his hip. He started yoga to rehab his injury but was nervous to go into yoga being super inflexible. He ended up becoming a teacher and has been teaching for 8 years now. He explains how to find more mindfulness in this modern world through having rituals, taking time to just look out the window, and anything to get your present. Releasing the importance of leading with a mindful intention, especially when in conversation with others. Working with your own energy when around reactive/ negative people + learning how to feel the emotions that are arising in you. In Buddhism, there are the 3 difficult practices -- notice when you've gone off, do something different and keep staying in your lane. The ego-clinging of not attaching to the emotion, but work through it. We're doing these spiritual practices to be a benefit to the whole world. Being in a community allows you to feel like you're a part of something bigger than yourself. How creating a community that fosters nourishment and good experiences creates the best method to growth in a business, which is word of mouth. He's intentionally trying to bring more equality to his yoga studio + making it more accessible for every kind of body. He is really aligned with the values of his business + keeping it in line with the principles of yoga. He says if you can learn to relax in the ocean, you learn to sit in the middle of change + remain calm. He explains how it's so easy to tighten and harden and yoga teaches us how to down-regulate and soften in these moments.

How she’s seen a lot of patients with spiritual gifts like seeing ghosts and spirits. Spirituality and mental health are about treating the soul and remind people that aren’t their diagnoses. What she has overcome as being a black therapist including smart shaming. How society has changed to love big lips and butts now. She encourages black people to learn more about their culture and educate themselves. She’s written three books -- SOUL Wisdom, How to work with the Universe & Honor Your Spirit. She’s a part of the ACEP Association of energy Psychologists.
