Today's episode is a short little snippet of audio from Christina Sanchez's class from our membership site, HerbRally Schoolhouse.

Christina Sanchez is a true herbalist of the desert. In this class, she teaches us about one of the desert plants she has a major passion for, the Joshua tree (which you'll learn isn't technically a tree). She covers the ecology, associated fauna and pollinators, some botany, but perhaps most importantly, the importance of protecting it.

After taking this class, you're sure to come away with more appreciation for this beautiful plant, and perhaps some ideas on how we can protect it.

What's more frugal than free? Dumpster diving is frowned upon by society at large, but after completing module two with our teacher, Guisepi Spadafora, you're likely to have a new view on this misunderstood means of acquiring delicious, healthy and free food. This video is lesson one of the dumpster diving module in HerbRally's first course: The Art of Frugal Nutrition. In this module, you'll learn the why, how, dangers and legalities of this adventurous activity. He tells some great stories throughout the lessons, and you'll also be treated to a live action dumpster dive with both him and Mason as they venture out into the night in Somewheresville, USA. Guisepi Spadafora has been traveling the country for more than a decade with Edna Lu the Free Tea Bus offering free tea as a community-building project. He finds joy in resource reclamation, tinkering, empowering people with real skills, and creating a more sharing world through gifting. Learn more about Guisepi at http://www.freeteaparty.org To learn more and to register for The Art of Frugal Nutrition visit http://www.herbrally.com/frugalnutrition It's a sliding scale course (slides all the way down to free), so you're likely to find a price point that works for you!
