"Why is it always ME?" That's the question I hear again and again from women who are trying to change the dynamic in their marriage, and in this episode, I'm answering some of the hardest questions you sent me after the Speak Husband Challenge. What if he gets defensive about everything? What if you're tired of always being the one who tries? Do you really have to respect him when you're struggling to find anything to respect? And what happens when your personalities, values, or ways of seeing the world feel completely different? I'm answering these honestly, including the tough questions that challenge everything I teach. Because NO, you don't have to carry your marriage alone. But you CAN be the one who goes first. You can change the dynamic without changing your husband. Ever notice how your husband finally does the thing you've been asking for… and somehow you're still annoyed? He plans the date. He handles bedtime. He takes something off your plate. And instead of feeling closer, you find yourself thinking, "Okay… but what about everything else?" I know that feeling! And I also know what can happen when that becomes the pattern in a marriage. In this final Speak Husband training, we're looking at one small shift that can completely change the dynamic between you and help your husband actually want to keep showing up. Because sometimes the way forward isn't about asking for more. It's about learning what happens after he does. ❤️ 👉 This is Part 3 of the FREE Speak Husband Challenge: Get the accompanying workbook right here - https://https://hifam.com/speakhusbandworkbook If you've watched Parts 1 & 2, don't skip this one. You finally found the words to explain what you need. Perhaps you even had to take a bit of time to work up the courage to say it... You thought you did it all right, and somehow the conversation still went sideways. You're trying to connect, and he's defending himself. And suddenly you're talking about his feelings instead of what you were trying to say in the first place. 😅 How did that even happen? I've SO been there too. You shouldn't have to stop having needs or swallow your feelings just to keep the peace. You CAN ask for what you want and make it easier for your husband to actually hear you. That's exactly what we're getting into in Part 2 of the free Speak Husband Challenge. ❤️ If you did not catch Part 1 make sure to go back and listen to it first. What IF you could finally talk to your husband about the things that matter to you without every conversation turning into a defense of his character? You ask about the dishwasher. You tell him you've had a terrible day. You ask for more help. You give him some feedback. And somehow, you're suddenly defending yourself against the accusation that you're criticizing him. You're left thinking: "But that's not what I said." "Why does he take everything so personally?" "Why can't I just tell my husband what I need?" If you've started walking on eggshells, avoiding certain conversations, or simply giving up on asking for what you need because you already know how he'll react, you're in the right place! This is Part 1 of the free Speak Husband Challenge. Stick with me through the series, because we're building this piece by piece. How many times have you asked your husband, "What's wrong?" and gotten a perfectly calm "Nothing"… And then spent the next hour wondering what the real answer was? Is he upset with you? Is something wrong with your marriage? Is he pulling away? Did you do something? And suddenly you're building an entire story in your head while he genuinely has no idea what just happened. What IF some of the things that drive you absolutely crazy about your husband are actually things getting "lost in translation"? While you might be sitting there, wondering if he still actually loves you... the problem might be that you're just speaking two different languages. In this episode, we're opening the Husband-to-English Dictionary (or, more precisely... Husband-to-Wife Dictionary) and looking at some of those everyday moments that can create unnecessary frustration, resentment, and arguments between husbands and wives. If You've ever thought, "Why can't he just say what he means?" …this one's a must-watch for you. 💍 Ready to learn how to ACTUALLY Speak Husband?

But what if the connection you're looking for isn't missing? What if it's already happening right in front of you, but it doesn't look the way you expected it to? Sometimes we're so focused on getting the kind of connection we want that we miss the little invitations our husbands are already giving us. This video might make you look at some very ordinary moments in your marriage a little differently. Have you ever looked at some couples and just thought, what makes the difference...? Why do some husbands just... show up better? What if the women who have husbands who really try aren't actually luckier? After coaching thousands of couples, I have noticed something surprising: the wives of the most devoted, hardest-trying husbands tend to do 5 very specific things differently. In this episode, I break down these five skills that can change the culture of your marriage. And yes… one of them might make you raise an eyebrow or say "Hell No" the moment you hear it. These habits aren't about becoming smaller, more submissive, or doing everything for your husband. They're power moves. Because you don't have to wait for your husband to change before you start changing the culture of your marriage. You can be the one to go first. 💍 **Ready to learn how to Speak Husband?** My brand-new "Speak Husband Challenge" is coming soon, and it's completely FREE! We've talked about the risks. We've talked about the opportunities. We've talked about what AI could change about school, work, thinking, relationships, and even the way our kids find meaning. But eventually, every parent gets to the same question: Okay... so what do I actually do with my child? The answer isn't the same for a 7-year-old as it is for a 13-year-old. And it shouldn't be. In this final episode, I walk through how I'd introduce AI at different ages: when I'd stay close, when I'd start handing over more independence, what I'd want kids learning along the way, and what I'd protect fiercely outside of the technology. Because I don't think the answer is to hide from AI. And I don't think it's to hand our kids a powerful tool and hope they figure it out. There's a middle ground. And if we've done this series right, you should finish this episode feeling a little less like you need to predict the future... and a lot more like you know how to parent through it. 🎥 This is Part 9 — the final episode of our free series, Raising Kids in the Age of AI. If you've missed any of the previous episodes, I'd really recommend going back to the beginning. They build on each other and together, they're the conversation I wish every parent was having right now. You can't watch every conversation your child has online. And honestly, you shouldn't have to. But when the thing they're talking to starts to feel less like a tool and more like a relationship, the way we think about parenting it has to change. So what should parents actually be doing? How do you give your child room to explore without simply handing them over to whatever technology decides to tell them? How do you protect them without hovering over every conversation? And how do you know when something is worth stepping in for? In this episode, let's get into the parenting approach I believe makes the most sense for this new world, one that sits somewhere between "ban it all" and "hope for the best." 🎥 This is Part 8 of the free 9-part series, Raising Kids in the Age of AI. If you haven't listened to the previous ones, make sure to go back! If you're raising kids who are going to grow up with AI everywhere, this is a conversation worth having before they figure it all out without you.
