How do you retain the right people? You invest in them from the beginning. Starting their first day, and every day after, let them know you care. Connect with them, invest in them, and value them from the beginning. Make them part of the process and help them understand they matter. Create an environment that appreciates and equips people. Then be intentional about implementing it. Be purposeful about building trust.

 There are seasons you have to buckle down and focus to get yourself out of the situation you are in. Invest the time, energy, and resources to build your team, and be intentional about keeping them.
