Episode 46 is on the scene with Part 2 of our salute to the Hooters Pro Cup Series. Boo Carlisle returns to co-host the first segment. Boo tells us about his weekend at Tri-County running the Bobby Gill throwback and how the Bobby Gill appreciation tour came to a crashing end on Saturday. 

This week, Shane Huffman returns to the podcast to discuss how social media and the internet in it's current state would have came into play if it was around during the Hooters Cup days. He gives his advice to young racers on waiting to log into twitter, how he would've responded to drivers that confronted him. He also dives into the hottest he had ever been in a Hooters Cup car and tells a Marty Lindley story. We discuss what if Bobby Gill, Marty Lindley among others had twitter back then and potentially dodging the officials. 

Timmy Hutson has been around in racing for over 20 years. Timmy served as a flag man a race day official and a media relations assistant for the Hooters Cup Series. He discusses his favorite stories from the flag stand, using dial up to send out press relations and what he thinks the legacy of the Hooters Cup Series will be when the history of racing is written. He also tells us about having to buy his own flags and a wild easter bunny story from the flag stand. He also tells a story that literally had us nearly end the podcast right then and there! 

Hal Goodson is a two time NASCAR All Pro Series champion and an eight time winner in the Hooters Pro Cup Series. The South Carolina native explains his rise to the NASCAR All Pro level, moving to the Hooters Pro Cup Series midseason, winning in his fourth start, hooking up with Bill Plemmons, teaming up with Jason Sarvis and Ricky Benton narrowly missing out on a championship to his later career running at Myrtle Beach and Dillon before retiring to run his tire and auto place. He talks about his brief NASCAR Xfinity Career before 9/11 put a halt on his Xfinity opportunity. Hal also tells us what the legacy of the Hooters Cup Series should be and how he feels about the throwback Bryant Barnhill is running this weekend honoring him.

Julian and Jody give their thoughts of the legacy of the Hooters Cup Series.
