She holds an MD from Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil and a Master's in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Palacio completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and a post-doctoral fellowship in General Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins.
Her work focuses on understanding and addressing long Covid, emphasizing patient-centric care and bridging the gap between research and clinical practice to improve healthcare outcomes
