We discuss how the portrayal of fictional women has shifted over time. We talk the best (and worst!) Disney princess movies as well as the new batch of powerhouse female superheros such as Wonder Woman and the women in the Star Wars universe. But, we question whether the increasing acceptance of complex women on screen has actual changed the way we welcome complex women into the real world.
