In this episode, we’re speaking with Jesse Kauffman, a Licensed Master Social Worker and LIMB Grad based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jesse specializes in supporting professionals with ADHD, and has recently been working with ADHD dads in the tech industry.

While Jesse is confidently navigating his niche while charging as much as $300/session now, it wasn’t always this way for him; he started out in Community Mental Health, and he experienced his fair share of naysayers throughout his transition to a premium fee private practice.

 You definitely don’t want to miss this.

 No, seriously, make sure you tune in, because this episode is so nice we did it twice; part two of Jesse’s story is coming out next week.

In this episode, Jesse shares:

Why he decided to leave Community Mental Health and go into private practice;

The difference between relationships that encouraged him and propelled him forward and relationships that discouraged him and held him back during his journey towards a premium fee private practice;

How doing his fee and money work impacted his life far beyond his financial situation;

His experience with negative feedback and hurtful comments regarding his professional dreams, and his advice for therapists navigating similar situations;

His fears that charging premium fees would blow up his practice, and how he made the changes anyway despite how scary and dangerous it felt.
